Playing for Barca and Bayern, teams that are pretty rampant whereas we're dross.

He's alright but no point getting another luxury player in on massive wages. Gotta be smarter in the market than that

8 league goals in 23 league games for Bayern Munich last season. That's not half bad for a midfielder

Yeah but Bayern regularly score 5 or 6 goals. His numbers for us wouldn't be nearly as good, plus by the start of next season he'd be 29 and we'd no doubt tie him down on huge wages for 8 years and end up paying a past it player for years to come

Not sure why people wouldn't want Buendia in Jan but reading a lot of people off on him.

Looks a tidy little player, good stats, knows the league so could hit the ground running and can play with Saka/ESR or instead of one of them so it's not like he's pushing ESR out, more helping him develope and pushing Pepe down the line.

I get the price is a bit high, but we would have paid it for Grealish had they gone down and he became a 'Championship player'. Besides, send them Nelson, Eddie and/or Willock to soften the blow and bring the price down.

I said I would take Coutinho on a short term loan with Barca paying most of his wages. Same for Isco. Plus Isco was at least a genuine top quality player before but because Martin Tyler had an 0rgasm whenever he mentioned Coutinho’s name Snooker49 thinks he’s world class

I think he'd get more than Willian or Pepe and lay on a bunch for others too. Certainly a step up
