The thing with Odegaard is he hasn’t made a big impact on any of our games yet.
I don’t think he’s played badly in any of his appearances yet but simply not playing bad shouldn’t be the level we hope of our players.
I think he’s been dece so far but ESR’s form has plummeted since he’s been pushed out on the left. Is a ESR/Odegaard/Saka trio any better than Martinelli/ESR/Saka though?

The thing is, I'd say about 40% of these teams will be hoping or wouldn't mind if they get us because they know we're not one of the strongest sides in the competition.
And if anyone watched us last night, they know we have a squad full of players ridden with individual mistakes at any given moment.

Yup, I wasn't. It was more a reflection on how useless pete's existence is.

Olympiakos and a Sokratis 120th minute winner.

looking at the bigger picture, we're gonna need to improve fast because players like saka won't be at the club for too long if we don't.
his ceiling is high and he deserves to be playing at a much higher level, competing with the best in the world, not bailing us out against mediocre teams in Europe's second-tier competition.
regardless of how this season ends, we need everything to go right for us this summer in terms of transfers, and a positive start to the season.
*positive start to next season

Wasn’t Saka a Chelsea fan as a child?
Thought he was always an Arsenal fan.

Nah, Arsenal fan. He said that his dad took him to some Arsenal games as a kid and he's been at Hale End since he was 7 years old.
But regardless of whether he is or isn't, I dont think it matters from a career perspective if we're not hitting the heights that he wants.
So what does Lexington make of our performance?

This week’s ESPN Notebook, including new Bellerin story. Player increasingly likely to leave #afc this summer. Wanted to quit in 2020 but agreed to Arteta request to stay for 1 more year. No active discussions now, focus on season. PSG not a viable option.
