Odegaard kinda reminds me of a young Pires. Always used to wonder why Wenger never played him in Bergkamp's role when he was injured. Picking Kanu and even Wiltord instead. Then I saw Cesc try it (and he was far more creative than Odegaard) and understood.

And btw its the point I made why I don't think he will develop to be a no.10 now.
Would just do the same team with AMN for Sambi, Tierney at LB and maybe rest Saka for Pepe

Mikel Arteta revealed some positive news about Granit Xhaka's fitness when he faced the media at London Colney on Thursday.
Our Switzerland international midfielder has been out of action since sustaining a medial knee ligament injury against Tottenham on September 26 and had been expected to be out until the New Year.
But Arteta is optimistic that that timeline could be brought forward slightly.
"Hopefully he will be a little bit sooner than expected," our manager said.
"He is training and pushing himself and all the staff so hard like he always does.
"He is in a good place, he is evolving well and hopefully we can have him a little bit earlier. It is still a bit early to decide."
Good news.

Our Switzerland international midfielder has been out of action since sustaining a medial knee ligament injury against Tottenham on September 26 and had been expected to be out until the New Year.
But Arteta is optimistic that that timeline could be pushed back significantly.
"Hopefully he will be out a lot longer than expected," our manager said.
"He is barely training or pushing himself and all the staff continue to laugh at how terrible he is at football.
"He is in a good place, as far away as possible from playing. Is he the biggest liability of all time? It is still a bit early to decide."
Good news.

Think it's more ceremonial, Wenger has stayed away since he left maybe out of respect but also maybe because the last few years were painful for him
If he's doing it for help with the attack it's potentially negative as well as positive but it's a brace decision to invite the cameras pointing at Wenger whenever we're losing

In that case Arteta really shouldn't be talking about it. It would be up to Josh Kroenke and Vinai. In my opinion Raul's job is still vacant and frankly Wenger should have been the ideal for that 5 years ago let alone now.

Nah I think Arteta had a lot of pull in how the football side is run and he'd like Wenger there as a sounding board at least
Arteta had the lifesize pic of Wenger installed in the entrance to the training ground and saw the players high fiving it as they entered. He knows if he brings Wenger in there's someone at the club who can step in as interim if he fails this season or next. It's a brave decision
