Aubameyang is no longer training with Arsenal's first team and is not expected to do so before he leaves for the Africa Cup of Nations. Until he leaves for Cameroon he will work alone in the club's training ground. [

What is that for?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Seems OTT for being late twice… we’re definitely not being told something
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Also my guess to be honest.

I don't see what? Fact is this is not new. Remember Ozil? What did he do?

I'd guess he went in early for talks, rather than to train. So either the result was:
- he's not following covid protocols at all, so is being separated
- he's off
- he's being given a clean slate after AFCON

Possibly

Titler is a priiiick. We’ll never get rid of him when everyone knows we are desperate to sell. See AMN

Arteta is a bit ruthless but I keep saying, Auba has a history of this even at dortmund.

Saying that, I would integret him back in the team but looks like Ozil all over again

I hate Chelsea as a club, not because they're in London or anything. There used to be a time they couldn't buy a win against us. And then they literally bought a truckload of them

Castor, why would you integrate him back into the team? You literally complain about him at every opportunity.

Because he is a better option than Eddie.

Yes we play better without him when Laca starts but I would still want him in thr squad

He might be more trouble than it's worth though. If having Auba in the squad messes with team moral, cohesion or effort then that will likely outweigh his current squad value as a player even vs the likes of Eddie Nketiah.

This is a problem of our own making and so unnecessary. Why couldn't they have just kept it quiet and moved him on. Trying to find a buyer under these circumstances has been made so much more difficult.

Tbf the main reason we were able to sign him in the first place was because he started to become a problem at Dortmund. History repeating itself, an’ all that. Same as with Guendouzi.

Stripping him of the captaincy and keeping it quiet would’ve been impossible. However, you’re right in a way. Auba should never have been made captain in the first place.

Auba was a costly problem back then. We paid a lot of money for him despite being a problem at Dortmund.

Gwendo in comparison cost peanuts.

I don't see why. His agent and Auba would have had nothing to gain from publicising it and neither would the club.

Injuries and suspensions.

What's everybody's preferred starting line up?

I'd go for pretty much the same as last game. I don't trust laca away from home at all, but it is Leeds. They tend to give you lots of space if you beat their press.

ESR will come in for Martinelli I think.

posted on 18/12/21

Martinelli is great to get Laca playing. Why would Arteta drop him after he scored?

I think ESR replaces Ode.
