This will look really bad on the club if it's one of our player.

The article say the player has been released on bail so he could have joined the team afterwards.

Is he allowed to travel abroad?

What's the employer supposed to do though? Suspend the player because of the allegation? Suspend for how long? until what happens? because if it wasn't for this new incident it probably would have never been resolved.

same with Chris Pincher really. Johnson obviously had his commupence coming for various things, but employing someone who had once been accused of doing something? Noone will have a job at this rate.

Wasn't the problem with Johnson that he approved some sort of promotion/move of role?
It's worse than just leaving things as is (I'm not fully up to speed with the facts so could be misunderstood)

Bojo didn't lose his job because he kept Pincher in a role. Though one can call his leadership into question. Pincher hadn't been admonished on record. Bojo lost his job cause he lied he did this to his cabinet colleagues. And wanted to do things that would have distracted the public but would have been disastrous like cutting taxes in a high inflation environment.

yeah. Think Sunak's resignation letter was the most damning to other MPs. Cause he implied that the worst of it was no.10 trying to implement disastrous policies to distract people from his lies. He used to do that when he was mayor as well with huge over valued projects that went no where.

Which is why I think they all want him gone quickly.

And I agree with that poibt if that's what Sunak said, but what prompted the (initial and subsequent) resignations was the Pincher affair. Specifically that he employed (and yes promoted) someone who 3 years earlier had a allegation of sxeual assault/imdecemcy or similar made against him. And also that the gorrnment line initially was that BoJo never knew about the acussation when je did, but the underlying issue was that he promoted someone against whom an allegation had been made. Sure the bloke turned out to be dodgy but its not an error of judgement (of Johnson) that people have been complaining about, it's the fact that there was an historix allegation.

It is. Hate the summer. Although the evenings are good for a nice light cardigan.
