You cannot deny we after a pressing player who links CM to attack. Be it Savic or Tielemans.

I can deny Paqueta is the player we are looking to fill that role with.

Savic and Tielemens are completely different types of players. We should be signing both of them.

Are they? Look at the spider graphs for all 3. Eerily similar. With I suppose Tielemans a little more rounded.

Tielemens is more of a creator whereas Savic is more of a midfield enforcer

Well if you look above at the spider charts their stats suggest they are very similar in what they do. Contrast that with the player I think they will be replacing - Xhaka.

Paqueta, Savic and Tielemans all play that attacking press but can drop back into midfield but then can control the tempo better than Xhaka who has a score of 55 in attack.

Maitland-Niles was doing that very well yesterday. So it seems to me we are after someone to be a starter in that role.

I don’t really care what those charts say. Like it says Tielemens is better defensively than Savic which is rubbish.

Scouts are far more stats oriented these days. Obviously Savic is the best out of all 3. And so will cost the most and will also be the hardest to get. However look at the heatmaps of all 3. They play in the same position and to a varying degree do the same job.
