Teebs is a Chelsea fan so is butt hurt atm. He was defending a Chelsea WUM on the other thread goading us for missing out on Mudryk.

Borussia Dortmund would be open to let Iván Fresneda stay at Valladolid on loan until the end of the season — no decision yet by the player. 🟡⚫️ #BVB
Arsenal, expected to decide the next step after Cedric deal close with Fulham.
There’s one more German club also interested.
If we get him it makes sense to leave him there for the season.
Martinelli would not have stayed to sit on the bench and you know it. dj
The reality is Mudryk maybe as shaat as Gordon judging by the lack of evidence or in fact Gordon could develop to be better under a good coach. We really don't know but both have great raw skills. In my opinion some Arsenal fans have convinced themselves that he is the next coming, that they joined in hyping a 20 min cameo against a very poor Liverpool backline.
So in my opinion, the question really should be for us is if Arteta really did want to have a new left wide player and if that is still true in the summer. So will we go for Raphinha or Moussa Diaby or Felix, or will he be satisfied sticking with Martinelli.
I can't see Martinelli replacing Eddie Nketiah in the striking position after Eddie's recent form do you?
We literally bought a left wide player last week
Martinelli would have to fight for his place as any player. That is what squads are all about. You cannot just have 11 players.
Martinelli isn’t going anywhere even if we sign prime Ronaldo ffs. What is your obsession with Martinelli leaving? You had the same obsession with Gabriel leaving until he signed a new contract
You honestly think Martinelli was going nowhere had we signed a 21 year old Mudryk? Bats? Where and when was he going to play.

Not really. we signed a 29 year old player who can play anywhere along the front line. And even in a box-to-box role in CM. No threat to Martinelli

----------------------------------------------------------------------
At Arsenal across 4 competitions for as long as the new contract he wants to sign states
Moussa Diaby has played on the right as often as he has on the left and also through the middle.
Raphina has played mostly on the right, but has played all across the attacking roles.
Mudryk has only had a short career, but played wide right, AM and striker as well as left wing.
You are making no sense.

Top young players want to play all the games. Especially against the top teams.
And to protect them from playing every single game, managers use a thing called squad rotation
Martinelli has played 5/6 Europa games (3 starts), the League Cup vs Brighton, FA Cup vs Oxford and has started all 19 PL games this season and people are wondering why he’s going through an average period of form since returning from the World Cup that he also played in

Saka is a lock on the right. Yes he can across the line but thats his preference.
Eddie/Jesus locks in the middle.
Martinelli is the only one whose position is in question.
I wanted us to sign a Trossard/Zaha type to be the backup. But Arteta has been targeting a long term replacement.
And I wonder if that is still the plan.

Pep hardly rotates?!
In wide positions alone they have Mahrez, Bernardo, Foden and Grealish who have been in and out of the team and even the likes of Alvarez and De Bruyne have played there.
I'm sure Arteta would love to rotate if he had the choice. Next season with the CL, he must be planning for that scenario.
