Szczesney’s distribution was shiiiiit 15 years ago when GK’s weren’t expected to start every attack so don’t see how he would fit in now.

Peebs still thinks he is a legend for bantering Spurs.

I just look City and Liverpool. Their no.2 is younger ready to step up or of "similar age" who can fill in but not as good as their starter. I've never liked the idea of an older keeper.

Why do you keep repeating the post where you say you want an academy prospect or an experienced 'keeper?
Because you continue to ignore where I said of similar age and explained my reasoning. You are the one constantly trying to prove others wrong.
Oh Wolves linked with Eddie. Shocked I tells ya.
But that is what PP wanted, an experienced 'keeper.
Yeah, once Wolves sell Neto and Gomes they should have enough to pay for Eddie. They always said this season was tightening the belt to meet financial regulations and that the next summer should see them in a better state.
Hopefully we don't buy Neto
pp wanted Woj. Your chain-smoking hero. The 'older' keeper.

Aye 🚬😎👌
Love Szcz but aye limitations in his play style and his attitude
PP asked the question. You said you didn't want an experienced 'keeper as they are too expensive and failures without ambition or confidence.
You are nuts. I then went on to explain what I meant so there was no confusion.

"Younger keepers are on less money and are not paid as much as starters. They are also willing to sit because they want to learn from the incumbent. Failed GKs lack confidence and are just that good to step in. Or why are they not wanting to start elsewhere?"
Is Ortega a youngster willing to sit and learn or a failed GK lacking confidence that is just that good to step in. Otherwise why is he not wanting to start elsewhere?

I don't like the idea of an older keeper who is not good enough to start elsewhere brining the wrong attitude or bad habits to the GK room.

Ortega?
Ortega was 29 when he joined and almost the same age as Ederson. He is not going to do that is he? Unlike your man Woj.
29 and happy to be back up to a world class 'keeper? Must lack confidence, a failed 'keeper. Else why isn't he starting elsewhere?
You have to ask Ortega why he stayed as a no. 2 if he thinks he is good enough to start elsewhere.
Like I said I would be happy if we kept Ramsdale. But he is ambitious and wants to move.
