we don't do well against english teams in Europe

@PP

A sizeable portion of Madrid fans have been saying we were due a pasting sooner or later. The team's rarely clicked this season, and our defensive shortcomings (which we'd managed to mask for a fair few seasons) have finally caught up with us this year.

Pérez's insistence on signing Mbappé has prevented the team from addressing more pressing areas in the squad.

Some say Carlo's been too much of a yes man, but I don't think anything he'd said would've got in the way of Pérez's vanity signing.

Madrid's recent transfer business has been very average.

How many of their team yesterday would start for Arsenal?

Courtois - No
Valverde - No
Rudiger - No
Asencio - No
Alaba - No
Modric - No
Camavinga - No
Jude- Maybe
Rodrygo - No
Vini - Yes
Mbappe - Yes

Major rebuild required at the Bernabeu

well it's good you don't just blame it all on Carlo, I really don't like the disrespect, but I suppose that's why Madrid are where they are, they are ruthless

Should we root for Villa tonight?

No chance. Emery will park a double-decker bus in front of goal and play for penalties.

If we get through to the semi I want PSG and then Barca, I just hope Inter doesn't get there, they would be very difficult to beat

We can't let Partey go in the summer.

Turned up again in another big game

Did you know Charlie George once scored 4 goals in an European Cup tie against Real Madrid and still ended up on the losing side?
Hat-trick in a 4-1 home win for Derby and one in a 5-1 (aet) loss at the Bernabeu.

do rice, martinelli and timber still need to be careful in the next leg for yellow cards? I thought they were wiped off but someone is saying it will still apply

posted on 9/4/25

I think they do still apply. It is not the end of the tie.
