If semi-finals can be called a disaster.

no, there was a tournament recently, maybe under 17s that they didn't even come out of the group, or maybe it was the olympics

The same one England also got knocked out in the group? With Max Dowman?
Hardly a disaster, lost to a 89th minute goal to get knocked out to Portugal and France.

Portugal beat France in the final of that, btw, showing the strength of the group.

That BNC block understated. Match saving from the lad. And his involvement in the winning goal Many would panic in that situation but he remained calm.

Gabriel Martinelli has been discussed as a potential option for Al-Nassr, however, Luis Diaz remains their top target. [@JacobsBen

Doubt Saudi would interest Martinelli. Would be suicidal for his chances of WC26.

Not sure 30 years ago is relevant to now. Global warming has changed everything.

Gonna be the worst ever. But remember the criticism Qatar got? Rightly or wrongly, that was all that was spoken about, from climate to its political views. USA also has a climate problem and a political problem, not an utter peep. Canada and Mexico will have to prop it up

South Africa was an AWFUL world cup in the end

That stupid ball and the pitches made games very stale and all you could hear were vuvuzelas
