CB is our most important position to strengthen IMO, it's such a vitally important position and we are weak there, we need a big, ugly fella who defends first.

I'd like to see Ben Arfa signed but he's had his injuries, he's quality though when fit. So is Luke Shaw great young player with more potential then any of our young defenders, it coudl be expensive now but he could be worth allot more in a few seasons time.

I think we need strengthening in other areas before leftback. The fact that Carragher is going and both Skrtel and Coates look to be gone as well, makes finding a centre back or 2 the top priority. It looks highly Likely that De Vrij will be one and I'd like to see Kelly used between rightback and centreback.

Then I think adding some quality steel at DM and a quality right forward should be our next stop!

I agree, obviously if Skrtel and Coates leave on top of Carra leaving all will need to be replaced unless its time to recall Wilson and look at Wisom and Kelly as CB's idk.

DM cover, a striker similar to Sturridge rather then Borini or Suarez. With any luck there was an agreement in the Carroll loan and we were'nt stupid enough to send him out on loan with a guarenteed sale if they survive relegation..... but knowing us we will get stitched up as per. West Ham will make us pay 9m just for them to take him x10

But i think our transfer targets will depend on how much Brendan see's the youngsters contributing to the season. I bet Sterling will get a lot of games next season again, Suso will probably start in10 or more pl games with any luck aswell as will Wisdom. And perhaps a few more will break through just like Suso and Sterling have.

Turan & De Vrij would be a start. Further more we need another CB, and a striker, and a defensive midfielder back-up, and can't lose Suarez!
