He has turned all his clubs into stable money making machines. Stability =/= Successful.

He has turned all his clubs into failures and surprise surprise, look at the decline in Arsenal over the 2 years he has been our owner.

posted on 2/3/13

His net worth is $4bn, £350m is around $525m - Around 1/8 of his net worth. He would definitely take an offer of this size, IMO, unless he wanted to start a bidding war between them and Usmanov.

Indeed, failures on the pitch, successes on the balances sheets.

Could be shít, the Guardian and Telegraph reported constantly United were going to be subject of a bid by a Qatar sheikh and nothing came of it.

posted on 2/3/13

It could even be a consortium lead by Usmanov

Perhaps there was a bid and the Glazers rejected it?

The performances of the sports clubs he owns have also gone down and fans have protested for him to leave because they know what a knób he is.

I know he hasn't yet, but I still think he will take money out of the club eventually, hence why the cash reserves are increasing.

Imagine Kroenke's face if he accepted the bid and it turned out it was Usmanov behind the consortium

Would rather be owned by the fans and only spend the money we make than be another City/Che.lski.

Guess it's better than being completely under funded by Stan.

I'd prefer Usmanov to these people, I didn't want him at first but he's stuck around and seems passionate about the club. We'd be going from an American's investment to an Arab's plaything, would be so much better if we had the German model of fans owning the club.

So American Businessmen and Arab Sheikhs = Bad

Russian Oligarchs = good?

8bit. German model is the dream

Just the best option out of the 3 imo, Usmanov seems like a fan and would keep Wenger.

They actually came out and said no bid was made, the Qatar oil family said they had no interest too and bought PSG instead

just like lucas moura.

Perhaps not a formal bid, they just realised the Glazers wouldn't sell and brought PSG cause it was less hassle.

If it was I'd tell them to buy United!!

I'm not trying to rubbish the source completely, but I'm just saying United and I remember Spurs had been linked to some rich sheikh over the years and nothing came to fruition. This could be the same, but it could not as well.

Are you happy with the Glazers now? All the protests about them seem to have died down.

Apparently it's been going on for 4 months? why have the only heard of it now?

Might be why Wenger keeps saying he can afford Falcao,Cavani etc cos sure as hell under Kroenke it wouldn't happen...

I personally don't mind them so much, they provide a budget. Don't interfere with Fergie, lower the debt down every year and the manager is happy with them. Who am I to argue with the best manager in the game?
