Yeah looks like similar placement to that of Takers match at WM28. Any of you guys seen the new pic for the stage layout? Looks insane!

Yeah I've always wondered what they do in relation to that. I remember hearing last year when the palm trees were in the way the crew let the people blocked stand at the front in the corners

That means the streak will definitely continue. Should of had it at the end to put doubt in people's minds.
jericho vs FAAAAAAAANDAAAAAAANGOOOOOOO at the end now

Correct. The WWE Title match whichever way it can be finished doesn't need to main event the show this year - and Punk needs every piece of credability he can scrap off the floor in this fight. Having it main event on the card would've at the very least planted a seed.
I don't think the Streak was ever in doubt this year, after having only a month's rushed build up then I think the chances were slim to none.Cena/Rock II was always going to main event this year.
I would like to see Punk pass out to Hell's Gate personally, spend the next year angling for a re-match and claiming Taker never beat him. WWE could literally hype the re-match for the next year and then let Punk take the streak at WMXXX
That would work for me
punk shouldn't take the streak
Hopefully the World title match isn't the opener to Mania this year. Devalues it.

Form is temporary, class is permanent.
I believe Punk should take the streak, I don't see who else could possibly take it.
The wrestling world would implode if Cena was the one who ended it, Punk has been the best thing about WWE in the last two years and will be a star for years to come, I really hope he gets a second crack at it. Will cement him in history forever and Taker should be ready to give it up.
There is no point in the Streak for me unless it is going to benefit someone else when Taker retires.
Punk has just been beaten twice by a man who hadn't wrestled since Wrestlemania.
If he then goes on to beat the Undertaker in anything other than a screwjob style finish, it ruins the Undertaker's legacy and the legacy of all those he defeated beforehand.
Furthermore, the streak should not go to someone when the match has had less than a month's build up and has been built almost exclusively around the death of a former employee (if William Moody hadn't died, I suspect the promos wouldn't be nearly as interesting). The match that ends the streak should be top of the card and have a full year's build up, it has been going for 23 years, it's far more important than any of the titles for whomever ends it.

That is what I said above and I agree with that completely.
I think Punk should be the man that ends the Streak in a re-match with Taker. Definitely shouldn't happen this Sunday.
Think he should lose by passing out to the Hell's Gate and spend the next year looking for the re-match, doing whatever he can to coax Taker into facing him once more.
Give it a 12 month buildup and end it at WMXXX with Punk finally ending it.
We've seem to have a rematch up the card every year, I'm not sure I'd like to see another one at WM30.
Punk is already a solid upper midcard/main event performer who SHOULD be in constant contention for the WWE championship. Beating the Undertaker's streak would be brilliant but I would prefer it if the streak was ended by a younger talent as a result of a year long push that propels them to the top of the business.
Of course, the problem with that is that I can't think of who would realistically be in with a shot from the current roster. I know who I'd like it to be but I'm not sure many other people would agree.
Who do you think?
I would obviously prefer it made a new star but I just don't think WWE would do it. They seem to start pushes and then drop them in the blink of an eye.
They could theoretically give Taker's Streak to someone and then fire them in just a couple of years, that is what it is much safer to give it someone they can trust to main event for years to come.
A couple of years ago I might of thought Drew McIntrye (The Chosen One) then maybe even Wade Barrett when the Nexus helped Kane bury Taker.
It is a tough one but someone definitely deserves to get the biggest rub imaginable from the end of The Streak.

I want it to be Dean Ambrose and I don't care what any of you think. He ticks all the boxes in my list to be a star and he can make a feud absolutely amazing, not to mention he's pretty vicious in the ring.
I reckon he and The Undertaker could put on a pretty good show.
Ambrose is a great shout, I am a massive fan of him and I think he will be a huge star in WWE. His work outside of the 'E shows how deranged and psychotic he can be, would make a great feud with Taker.
Roman Reigns will probably get the biggest push out of the 3, though.
