Maybe you should just buy the PPV DVDs from 1995-2004

I tuned in to wrestling about 94. I stopped watching full programs around 2003. Never paid for a PPV since. Only watched little bits of Raw since then featuring a few players and that is online.

WWE has been on life support for over 5 years now and last night the plug was finally pulled.

I used to love playing the wrestling games when I was small. I have 3 older brothers who used to watch it and tell me all about it, I wouldn't watch it as much as it was on late. But now they've all lost interest, and so have I. I still have great fondness towards the past era, but now it's all so bland there is little reason to watch. I have a few DVDs of old PPVs and they really are great shows and it's so well structured, and cohesive.

I remember before Jerichos 'second coming' the ratings for RAW were truely awful and people were sick and tired of seeing Randy Orton as champion and always getting DQ'd etc. WWE acted drastically to do something and bought Jericho back to 'save us' as it was known. Guess what the finish was when the two faced off at Armageddon? Yup that's right

Funnily enough, I was fañnying around on Wikipedia a couple days ago reading how "Right to Censor" was a parody of groups wanting to limit what WWE could do. Now look!

Maybe they are working for creative

There's only one direction this Cena character can now go creatively, and it is as simple as that.

Long standing feud with Punk lasting the duration of this PPV cycle from the point of his return assuming he's on break (at Punk's expense of course, but Cena's the priority isn't he, they proved that last night), that feud can involve Lesnar/Heyman/The Shield to an extent - can't have them fighting every PPV naturally, before he bows out of wrestling fighting Taker at WM30 to win or lose - no difference (remaining face throughout).

Obviously people who are familiar with me on here know i speak from only one prospective, the creative prospective, and those are the simple truths of the situation. Winning last night made him creatively complete, he's a finished project. Time to start planning retirement

Lesner - Wasted beyond belief since he returned.

--------------------

wasted? he'd have to be any good to be wasted, he's had 3 matches this year all of them have been terrible, he should not be in the company

Raw tonight would want to be good or that's me taking a step back from WWE

Lesnar has been wasted, he's been mismanaged. They've booked him like a permanent novelty item with this fixation on having him be the representation of martial arts fighting (something i hate being mixed with pro-wrestling period).

I saw the match last night and his match against Cena, neither sucked necessarily but both played out like the classic novelty match with both competitors kinda stuck in two minds as to how far they go with their own psychology.

To get any sort of mileage out of him they need to commit one way or the other. Either have him fighting all his battles in a cage match, close grappling utilising armbars and choke holds. Or have him wrestling under the standard WWE mandate. I wouldn't wanna ee them get rid, he's still the most imposing guy on the roster bar none.

There will be new challenges for cena. He still has to destroy and bury the shield the same way he did the nexus.

He might have new challenges in terms of opponents, but not in terms of self furfillment.

thats to try to cover up his stiff hits and poor movements, he couldnt come back as the wrestler he was as he cant do that now

I've said it a million times before and I'll say it again.

WWE now is damn right shlt compared to the good old days of the late 90's to 2001/2.

its utter rubbish.

even the cameramen are terrible!

it pains me to see how it has become....

I'm thinking about applying for a creative position, but I would absolutely hate to work in that environment - i bet all my ideas would be shot down
