Yes I also think that whoever wins the Europa League should gain automatic qualification to the following season's Champions League group stage or at least the 3rd qualifying or play-off round.
Ok. Thanks for the clarification. Strange that a Chelsea mate was telling me this today. Anyway, good luck to u guys in the chase for the CL place (I am a United fan btw). That chase is looking more interesting between the 3 London clubs. Hopefully United can wrap up the title tonight and I can relax and watch the top 4 fight.

Sadly i think Chelsea and Arsenal will pip Spurs to the 2 CL slots below.
If anything.... I think that if Chelsea win the Europa league, they should be forced to defend it, regardless of where they end up.
After all, they only made it into this year's CL because they deserve the right to defend their trophy.
