Nan, it is affecting the team. A manager answering questions about one player all the time is not the way to go about things

moyes has handled it well and doesnt seem fazed at all

He's only 18 or so, isn't he? Would he be ready for PL football?
-----
My attitude would be, if he's ready for BL football (which he looks like Schalke think he will be, and they've got a reputation of treating players well) then he's ready for PL football. People don't realise that the BL has probably the closest level of physicality to the PL in the whole of the world, just with a far superior level of technical ability by their home-grown players

Whilst ignoring the damage his current position is affecting the team

Right now you don't know what the current state of affairs is and neither do I.

I do know about his ability though.

Is it fair for him to continue to have to deal with this situation?

The the transfer window devil, questions will be over soon as September 3rd comes.

It's not the first time our manager has had to answer a lot of questions about one player and ya done out squad moral no harm before

I know he's asked to leave

Yes, however if his heart isn't in it, he'll be worse than last season. The thought of that is terrifying

he;s only just signed for Schalke though, he wont move twice in a transfer window

Why didn't a Pl clubs sign McLean. Looked with good last season, clearly has a bit of an attitude mind
