Germany don't care about us, they hate the Dutch.
I imagine Germans treat England games the way the English treat games against the Scots
Scotland definitely. Like Lancs York, however it does depend on the circumstances.
Cricket the Ausies
Union the French
League the Welsh
Am sure there are others.
I just don't get as wound up playing Scotland or the same excitement as when we play the Germans.
It's hard for England v Scotland to really have an intense rivalry with the gulf in quality between them nowadays
It's like arsenal v Colchester
I don't know why Scotland hate us so much! I don't really mind them. Always want them to qualify, and would support them against other teams. Same with Ireland and N.ireland. Not so much Wales, dunno why haha. But I'd still like to see them qualify for things.
England are a rubbish football side with no style and very little good to say about it.
Probably why you support France as your Prem team then

me too but i would support wales though
Would rather support France, they don't play hoofball.
And besides, I live closer to Paris than to Scotland.
And Manchester for that matter.
Live just next to Germany and can assure you they couldn't care less about our national team. The french, on the other hand, are a different matter entirely..
I think its changed.
ive spoken to quite a few English people about the game tonight, and at best, there seems to be disinterest about the whole thing.
its not like it used to be in my experience.
maybe Scottish people feel differently?
When us Irish played you a few months ago the media tried to hype it up but there was nothing
International football is dying out in terms of interest

Tbh there isn't that much of a gap. The likes of Zaha, Cleverly and Jones would struggle to make the Andora team.

Henrik it certainly is.
I remember in year 4 (or was it 2/3? I can't remember) going into school to watch 2002's world cup v Brazil. That was exciting. And going round people's houses for 2006. But by 2010 I just couldn't care less. I think an awful lot of it is down to England being like watching Stoke play. So uninspiring. And the players themselves, my god. Who could bring themselves to support the likes of Gerrard, Rooney, Cashley and John Terry?
The thing is these things get out of hand. In the 60's there was great banter between the fans in no matter what sport we played Scotland. Both as a fan and playing Footie for College up in the north east we had great times during and after the match. Then for some reason it all went Alex Salmon on everything. Now don't get me wrong if Scotland want independence then I'm all for it, have a north of the border referendum on the Scottish electoral register and take it from there but the complete agro that happened in the 70's has left a nasty taste both sides of the border.
never thought of Germany as a rival before in any sport.. Unless you are one of those idiots who does the bomber plane gestures and sings 2 world wars and one world cup... then you probably sing munich 58 and hillsbro songs, too. I accept its a big game....because they are...good.
Holland vs Germany is their main concern.
England Argentina has more rivalry for me. England Scotland is the ultimate rivalry in football in my book.
you're............beat ya D
Club football you care about all year long but International football you forget about after a few days
for the scots its england with a passion remember the wembley brawls of the sixties and seventies thats why it stopped
I couldn't care less anyway about England. If we win - great. If not I couldn't care. I'd rather see Arsenal win the Carling Cup than England the World Cup.

Who's the bigger rivalry?
