Christmas 79, sammy mac with a goal I seem to remember at the age of 9
Derby county at OT sometime in late 70s early 80s. Can't remember much about the game
I think it ended 0:0
Feb 1965, FA cup replay at old Trafford between Man Utd and Stoke..work mate of my Dad's from Stoke got me a ticket in the main stand. United won 1-0, goal by Tony Dunne in the last minute..yes even then there was Fergie time.
Quiz question, why did United play in blue shirts ?
And a couple of months later I went to my first game at Maine Road and became a City fan
My 1st game was way back in 67/68 season Leicester City at home we won 6-0 and Peter Shilton was in the nets for Leicester if my memory is correct. That season we went on to win the 1st div. title by piping the rags n the last day of the season. We won 3-1 up @ Newcastle, while the rags were going down 2-1 to Sunderland, so we won the title by 2pts. I have been a season ticket holder form season 68/69 to the present day.
furrrk so many of you are old. The way you bicker you seem like 12 year old girls.
Football keeps you young KOTB
25-11-1978
Man city 2-1 Ipswich
Mainly remember it because kenny Clements broke his leg right in front of us in the Platt Lane, horrible noise
Think it was a tackle with kevin Beattie
Well Chelsea didn't have any fans until 2003 so you lot must be lying...
"Well Chelsea didn't have any fans until 2003 so you lot must be lying"
No-one has ever said that have they? People have quite accurately said, "Many Chelsea fans weren't Chelsea fans until 2003"
But, that is not the same thing.
Lol henryscat several people have said that...even regular chants at the bridge of "where were you when you were shat" when a lot of the people were there.
People may of quite accurately said what you said but most haven't
Chelsea 4 Liverpool 2
Fa cup 97,
What a game, what an atmosphere what a comeback

Ill be going to west ham & back from Poole in a few weeks
What's the best way to go? Train into London & out or drive to richmond and get the tube in?
Cryptic question
How poor were the minutes taken from your last supporters club meeting?
paulpower, driving to Richmond and getting the train to the east end might be your best option mate

Drive to Kew and u can get free parking in the streets nr Kew Gardens Station, Take District Line straight thru to Upton Park.
With regards to the minutes, I haven't seen the minutes from the last meeting. The ones before that were taken by a visiting Leeds fan (in the absence of our Secretary), whose City fan wife wanted to join our branch.
Why the criticism ? A bit unnecessary in my view as u r not a member of the branch
Leeds fan is my brother in law
Those were the minutes I was on about
Chelsea vs Norwich, I was 11 and my dad took me to watch them at the bridge, was brilliant, can't remember the score.. Think we won 3-1, was awestruck and was an annoying little brat in the car the way home not shutting up about seeing my "heroes" Dennis wise being the main one
1990, Chelsea vs Walsall in the Rumbelows Cup.
Chelsea won 4-1.
I remember Durie got the first and Dixon and Le Saux scored too. I'm not sure but I think Kevin Wilson got the other one.
First ever game QPR 0 Everton 1 at Loftus Road in February 1969, if memory serves. Jimmy Husband scored the winner in the 10th minute and Rangers got relegated with a miniscule points margin a couple of months after. One of my relatives was a pitch-side steward at Rangers and got me in for gratis, and I sat at the side of the pitch with the St. John's ambulance men and got on the cameras for the Big Match.
1st Chelsea match was just under a year later. It was no contest for me after that.

I guess that was pretty cryptic lol
Don't know how long u r down for but our next meeting is 10th Oct
1st game was around 1971 Brighton v Barnsley old div 3 and a pulsating 0-0 draw.
The first game I attended was at the old Den for a Millwall game against a team I've forgotten circa Christmas 1995. The most memorable aspect of the game was that the Millwall fans featured a player called Uwe Fuchs, whom the home fans roared on by sounding his surname often and in vociferous fashion.
Mine was around 90/91 in the paddock, just before the centenary was built. Think it was against either Palace or Villa, I think we won 2-1. I can remember Gary Ablett getting dogs abuse. I was with my Dad & two of my uncles.
Second match, in The Kop, when it was standing. I was about 10/11 at the time. Loved it & it scared the c--rap out of me at the same time.
