Final board update chaps. Lacklustre scoring for the final, a maximum of 9 points out of the potential... 42!! Nobody saw that sort of destruction coming, how could we?

Here it is...

1st. It is only fitting that for an inaugural ja606 competition, we have a player claim their first win. Step forward DJ a committed darts fan, he definitely deserves his win as despite having participated regularly and hosted a couple of competitions there has been little to brag about before. DJ also boasts prediction of the tournament, collecting a massive 21 points for Chisnall making the final. DJ

3rd. Poor RAP so close but so far. But for the grace of god, I would be writing the exact same about you as I did for DJ. Keep on plugging away, you'll get there in the end

2nd. Sheriff. You led for the first half of the competition, but as the heat was turned up you couldn't quite hold it together and faltered, claiming the bronze in the end. Shades of TCW at the matchplay...

4th/5th. TCW. Not his finest time out, however he has the curse of the host excuse, which is a very real thing, you can ask DJ and RAP!

4th/5th. MrTweedy. Never threatened near the top but was never in any danger of a relegation place finish. Has to go back to basics to find the form that won him the UK Open.

6th. Milk. A midtable finish for midtable form. He picked up pace as the tournament went on though and perhaps this bodes well for him as his favourite tournament, the World Championships, is nearing.

7th. Henrik. Thanks for taking part it's not been a good couple of tournaments for Henrik, however he can take some comfort insofar as DJ has been suffering for a long time and yet formwise came from nowhere to roar to this title.

8th. Digby will probably not be satisfied with his performance this time out and has the ignominy of being the only predictor to miss any of the predictions, however he did not come last and still has his fair play trophy must improve next time Digs.

9th. Marco... Don't laugh too hard at him, he is still our Phil Taylor and next time out he will likely silence the doubters. Having said that, feel free to have a sneaky little chuckle as you might not get another chance soon.
