All the lads were excellent today.

Every one of them. Still a little sure on Anelka. As soon as Big Vic Anichebe is fit....he's our man up top for me.

Also...

Atmosphere was immense today. Smethwick was bouncing.

Think the United result got everyone buzzing.

Arsenal fans were real poor.

yacob and mulumbu were immense and restricted the space in which ozil played, but although anelka played well he should have scored.

Yeh, Yac and Mulumbu were class.

Mulumbu as ever and Yacob has been immense ever since he came back into the starting line up. Maybe getting dropped was the kick up the arsè he needed?

Also... How good is Sessegnon? I still am yet to see anyone tackle him (without fouling him)

And Saido Berahino. What a player. So nice to have an exciting player like him in the team. Makes it more sweet that he's come through our academy.

Amalfitano with another assist. He'll be up there with Özil at the end of the season.

All the defenders were brilliant. Mac = beast, Olsson = back to his best, Ridgewell = much better, Jones. = should be England's RB.

Myhill is a brilliant back up keeper aswell . Well Done Big Boaz.

And well done to Clarkey

Did you have to bribe the ref though?

WBA played very well, the fact that most of us are happy with a point shows how tough the game is this season. Had a sneaky bet on WBA to finish top midland team yesterday at 5/1. Easy money in my opinion.

Wumpatröl,

Ref was poor, I agree. Wasn't one sided though.

Blatant foul on our player in the build up to the equaliser.

Arsenal were lucky Anelka didn't have his finishing boots on. But a point was probably just about fair.

Wizard

Cheers. We'll give anyone a game when we're on it!

Good luck for the rest of the season

Hmmm I though he gave you all the 50/50 decisions! Any West Brom player going down near an Arsenal player was a sure freekick. I was surprised he didn't give you the pen at the end! As for us, he gave us nothing, absolutely nothing!

I was there and I'd disagree.

Haven't had chance to see the penalty incidents again but I know for sure the Arsenal goal shouldn't of stood. Blatant foul on our man to win possession and equalise.

Fook the ref anyway... Good game, good point , good teams.

Wow, I think I forgot to say that no one deserved to lose today. A well fought draw for both sides.

What a great result today and it continues our good mini run. I thought defensively we were great apart from the occassional Arsenal move getting close to goal.

Yacob and Mulumbu did very well to shield our defence and I want to give a special mention to Billy Jones who is turning into a very good right back for us. He is a very good attacking outlet for us and has came on superbly in a defensive capacity.

I thought that Anelka looked good and looks to be settling in but I was a little disappointed in Sessegnon look even though was a handful, he lacked his creative spark of last week which would have caused even more problems for Arsenal.

All in all a good result against a very good in-form team.

Yeah, I agree with your last sentence.

Just to add, hopefully Amalfitano hasn't got a serious injury and is ok. It looked to me like possibly a dead leg.

Alright bud. I read your post a few weeks ago about some people on the other site that you wanted to see over here which included me so I thought I would fullfill your dream and make a triumphant appearance.

Since the introduction of Amalftiano, Sessegnon and Anichebe, the whole team has been a revelation. Those three have been what was required and have given us freshness that was desperately required. Also how immense was Yacob today. Good goal and he with Mulumbu stopped Arsenal's talented midfield getting into full motion.

Yeh absolutely spot on pal.

I'd also add the impact of Saido Berahino aswell.

This is Clarkes squad now. These are his players.

And to think we've got the liked of Morrison, Brunt, Gera, Thorne, Long, Vydra, Sinclair , Anichebe waiting in the wings...
