It's not good enough but we are through to the last 16 of the CL and unlike you, we've yet to play most of the teams in the bottom 8.

I can't understand how City have lost most of the games they have this season. They've absolutely smashed those teams but somehow can't put the chances away. No reason for them to worry. It'll come good for them.

You come across as gloating a little. Not surprising that I'd think that, considering you are one of the worst wums on this site, and a person completely incapable of considerate/respectful debate. Or to put it another way, you're a fecking idiot who clings to misconception and runs with it, much like a monkey who grabs hold of a banana at an opportunistic moment and then legs off into the distance.

Anyway, clearly 4 defeats already isn't good enough. You know the answer to that already, otherwise the thought wouldn't have crossed your mind to write your post. Ergo, you already have your answer, it's just a shame that you didn't realise that before wasting your time putting your finger tips to your keyboard.

Wouldn't get too caried away by getting through in Europe. Your group was easier than ours for a change (due some luck there tbf) but you won't get close to winning it. None of the PL clubs will.

The title should be the main priority for City, especially now Fergie has gone.

You lot are just awful away from the biter bowl though. No idea why. Your players are all experienced internationals.

Ripleyscat

Calm down bertie.

Ive been saying for last few months, you'll most likely win the title or possibly Chelsea.

Got to be able to take it as well as give it. You were laughing at us after West Brom and Saints games.

Grow a pair.

You've no idea because you haven't got a clue about football.

"Bitter bowl" - your intentions are all too clear.

You're just so transparent. Idiots, like you, just don't have the capability.

It is a mark of stupidity comapring results at this stage of the season when we haven't played similar fixtures and the only head-to-head ended with you being comprehenively árse-raped.

Funny you should mention the Champions League when we've already qualified and you will be as good out if you revert to form against Shaktar.

I hear sheikh mansour is going to bid £50m for januzaj as he knows how to score and win at sunderland after conceding 1 goal Then again he wants man city to produce there own stars now to

Clutching at straws there a bit Binky ????

We're top of our group and we've got just as much chance of winning it as you lot have......ZERO.

I can sense the anger and dissapointment on here tonight. You didn't think for a second you'd be below United after the derby mauling after 11 games, sitting in 8th place.

Maybe Mancini wasn't that bad afterall.

I'm only teasing guys........you'll still finish ahead of us I reckon and probably still win the league.

Man utd can qualify as group winners in the next game if we win and results go our way. If hernandez and rvp took those 3 chances or 1 of them it would have been much easier though.

Have you qualified yet?

nope.

We know you really think that.

If you weren't such a boring halfwit stretford,we'd have a reasonable debate about it with you
While you consistently have to use terms a child would think funny, that's good reason to say I'm out

I genuinely do RipleysCat

This result today for us was MASSIVE ( but we won't be winning it this year. Nobody expected us to either. Not even us fans.

You lot on the otherhand must have expected the title with fergie now gone?

Paul is tetchy after a long pointless trip to Geordieland.

I'd be upset as well Doris if my team had spent nearly 100m and already lost 4 games in the league and behind a team who thus far have been awful but slowly building momentum

posted on 10/11/13

Why was no one expecting you to win the league, you're reigning champions and haven't been forced to sell any of the players that won you that title.

Poked the hornets nest here....

Can still see you guys challenging but your away form is terrible currently...

Errrrrmmmmmm........might have something to do with losing the greatest manager this country has ever seen after 26 1/2 years in charge and being replaced by David Moyes.

Not a single Pundit backed us this season and I don't know many reds who thought we'd win it. I certainly didn't and I still don't.

The fact we're still in the mix after the start we've had just shows how poor this league is.

IF Fergie was still in charge......it would be number 21.

it looks to me that Pellegrini's remit is to win the Champions league and that is what they are concentrating on this season.
United are lucky that they have got away with their wobbly start and the total points needed to win the league will be low this season.

City have NO chance of winning the CL. The way Bayern destroyed them in their own backyard pretty much proves that

Blaming Fergie's departure is a childish excuse, you appointed a manager with 11 years PL experience, has a good knowledge of the players he inherited and probabaly knew he was getting the job 18 months ago.
