An extreme long shot but a PL medal would make his honours list complete, and nobody deserves it more.
That pass was just simply breath-taking. He saw the through ball and then slipped and then still got up and put it on the plate for Sturridge

I'm struggling to see how Lucas gets back into the team if everyone is fit.
Who said Stevie wasn't having the best of games at the beginning?
Certainly I wasn't one of them as I watched him playing very well, providing chance after chance. Bar a few bad games, which every player has he has been one of our best players.

I'd have him in for difficult away games.
Wouldnt fix it until it looks broken.
If Gerrard keeps playing like he has been recently, anything could happen. He could win football writers POTY and guide us to who knows what. He is clearly loving being in the mix at the top.
As for the away form, when you look at our final 6 away fixtures, only the next one Southampton away looks particularly tough, plus the derby at Old Trafford.
The other 4 are against teams no better than Fulham. Now we have to go to these places and do the business, but there is no reason why with defenders returning our away record won't look better come the end of the season.
We have won 4 out of 6 in the away games against bottom half teams, only losing at Hull. Thats the same as Chelsea, and better than Man City who have only won 3 out of 8 away games against bottom half teams.
This thing is on if we finally tighten up at the back.
Carry on making individual errors and its goodnight vienna.
