I'm actually surprised Agger wasn't the one that got injured.
Wilshere kicked him pretty hard, and he didn't catch his studs he kicked the side of his foot, and given the position Agger's foot was in I'm surprised it didn't twist his ankle as Wilshere kicked him pretty hard.
Studs were not showing and it was one footed. He was going to get the ball cleanly if Wilshere didn't kick him.

At least Agger touched the ball, Wilshere completely missed it. Maybe if he had better accuracy he wouldn't have got injured.

Quite clear Wilshere touched the ball first. Not a terrible tackle, but I can't believe people are getting on Wilshere's back for being injured in a 50/50.
And ManUtdDaredevil (U9612) ? This is talk amongst the top four teams, doesnt concern you
Watch here , 7 seconds in. Poor control, takes his eyes off the ball. Reacts with desperation and breaks Wilsheres foot. Idiot.
Nothing wrong with that tackle really.

Wilshere shouldn't have kicked him.
Wilshere touched the ball. But he just swung a foot at it and miss kicked it and then kicked the side of Agger's foot with the follow through.
Hardly Agger's fault. It was a 50-50 that Jack came off worse from - which is actually surprising because the force with which he kicked Agger's foot should have injured his ankle.
Was a 50-50.
Wilshere got the ball first.
Agger's follow through injured him.
Nothing more to discuss really.

Wilshere should treat every challenge as a 75-15 in the opponents favour... Those that know your ratios will see this is 5-1

Really, I didn't know that. My bad. Where can I go debate with teams that have won trophies in the last 9 years?
Santi, it was Wilshere's follow through that injured Wilshere.
He kicked Agger's foot not the other way around.
Wilshere is more at fault for getting injured than Agger is because he couldn't win the ball cleanly and ended up kicking the opponent and injuring himself.
Wilshere got the ball first

So it wasn't a clean tackle from Wilshere then if he ended up kicking agger afterwards.

Really mature comments there, HK. Well done.

Cos our other options like Ramsey, Rosicky and Ox have dodgy injury issues too and we don't need yet another long-term injury.
