If I'm being honest. Spain and I agree that Alba should be first choice. And they overlook Enrique, probably, because he's not a 'tiki-taka' player, nor a possession player. He's direct in both movement and passing.

Monreal's playstyle suits Spain more, even though he's an average player. Which is why he plays over Enrique.

I'd say Wilshere has gone through a period of being massively overrated and has now fully transitioned into being underrated
