Plenty of bitter fans from our less fortunate neighbours couldn't wait to take pot shots at us. Yet we're still on course to be the highest West Midlands club.
Know your place biatches.
Blouse and Wolves fans have been conspicuous by their absence today.
Tied, as a matter of interest, what's 'biatches' ?
Presume it's plural and an adjective but a great sounding word to describe the Dingles, Vile and Blouse.
Living at least 1hr 30m away from The Hawthorns, I usually leave when added time is announced which saves me up to 40/50 mins on my journey. Yesterday I stayed till final whistle and we didn't concede in the final seconds. Seeing the relief on the players faces was worth the longer journey time.
Plus you got to witness the immense celebrations at the end.
😃

I notice my article titled "Calling BlueinBarca" has been deleted by the mods - it seems Blouse in Barca cannot cope with any banter aimed at him and his pathetic little team!
It probably got banned because he's banned from our board and his comment was pure vile wànk.
Cardiff can no longer catch us. (Unless they win both their games, we lose all 3 of ours and they overturn a stupidly impossible goal difference).
If Fulham (at Stoke) and Norwich (at Chelsea) lose next weekend, then we'll be safe before we even kick at ball at The Emirates.

That's a good bit of analysis, JH - I hadn't realised the KO times.
I think Fulham will cause Stoke problems, and Stoke will have to be on their game. I think Ryan Shawcross misses that game after getting two yellows yesterday. Not sure if that's good or bad for Stoke!

They don't have to lose JH
A point would be no good for them either.
Even if Fulham get a point they can only reach 35 points,
And if Norwich some how manage a point at Chelsea they could only reach 36 and we have a vastly Superior GD.
So in short BOTH have to win
I think what JH meant was if Cardiff and Fulham don't win... but you're right Lobster, draws won't be good enough for them either.
Can't believe I'm talking to a lobster!

Pepe Mel
Pepe Mel believes Albion will have a new-look team next season as he reaffirmed his intention to sit down with Jeremy Peace in a fortnight’s time to thrash out his Hawthorns' future.
The Baggies boss, who claimed his first home win on Saturday, is still unsure whether he will remain at the helm next season.
But Mel accepts that should he continue, then he will expect a say in the summer transfer window.
Albion are bracing themselves for potentially a big turnover of players.
Apart from the five loanees - most of whom are expected to return to their parent clubs - Albion also have Steven Reid , Zoltan Gera and Billy Jones out of contract.
Reid and Gera are likely to leave, with Jones still in talks over a new deal.
Chris Brunt , Graham Dorrans and Liam Ridgewell are technically out of contract but each one has a 12-month option stacked in the club’s favour.
Mel claims that, whoever is boss, will be taking charge of a ‘new team’ next season.
Regarding his own future, Mel admits that he is still unsure.
“We have a meeting in the week that the season ends and it’s then that we’ll talk,” said Mel.
“We need to sit down, the chairman and myself, and we need to look at what he wants for the club'
“It really does depend on whether it will be with me.
“There are a lot of players who are going to be out of contract so it’s very much a case of creating a new team.
“The make-up of this team will be very important, that will define the future.
“We’ve spoken about the fact that for me the month of April was the most important, and during the month we’ve got a lot of points.
“I think the team is continually looking more similar to what we work on during the week. But we’ve still got three games to go and we need to finish as high as possible.”
He continued: “It’s not a case of wanting to change things it’s simply a fact we need a new team. There are lots of players who are out of contract and players who will perhaps not continue so of course, if I’m involved in West Brom we will need to have an important role in these.
“Right now there are only currently 13 players with a contract in place. The choice of the other nine or ten players – if in the end West Brom do go with me – I’ll have a say in this.”
One player Albion might yet keep is Morgan Amalfitano, who is on loan from Marseille.
Mel added: “The problem is - and I’ve mentioned it in the past - unless West Brom is absolutely safe we won’t sit down and talk about the future of the players'
