But not Can. We could use the depth.

Easy to forget how young Can is really considering he plays CM but he's turning 23 next week and, at the same time, he needs to start establishing himself.

I think he tries a bit too hard at times but in terms of his skill set he's got just about everything you would want in a central midfielder.

I'd keep him and I reckon Klopp will too.

Looking knackered and being knackered are different things though. He covers plenty of ground throughout the game.

I think Can missing some of pre-season for the Euros and then being injured was huge for him.

I don't think he's the fittest he could be, but it's very hard to get that mid season. A summer off will do him the world of good I think.

He's got a lot of ability, and is a leader on the pitch too and I think this is part of his game that will grow as he gets older.

He just needs to sharpen up is passing which is too loose at times, and make decisions quicker.

We won't be selling him.

Just done a search for any info for him Juve and the only think I can see is Pavel Nedved saying he'd sign him.

Can't see him going anywhere to be honest, he's still very young and will only get better in this squad and them stingy, pasta eating mef's would probably want him on loan with a view to buy him for £4.50 in the 23 months!

Klopp doesn't panic buy and as a club we always look for value long term not short term fixes.

We were never going to sign a player just to cover for Mane missing a few games for example.

Ever reliable Daily Star reckons we are in for Subotic again because of some generic quotes from his agent about anything being possible in football.

Probably bull has he has barely played in the last 2 years because of a succession of injuries.

A centre half might be a possibility though with Ilori gone, Sakho on the brink, and Lucas future up in the air.
