Move Salah central then bring someone else in. Anyone but Sturridge really, heck would even rather see Moreno at LW. At least he would run around a bit and not slow down and disrupt every attack we make.

A lot of things were poor today, Milners delivery, every single Mane pass.

How we don’t take many shots I don’t know.. defenders just sit back knowing we aren’t shooting from range.

Spot on, teams are starting to realise our lack of any long shot specialist so have dropped their defensive line deeper to nullify our runners.

Really was a seriously crap and worrying performance offensively.

I think City were very tired in the extra time.

wow .. thats a blow for man city

Laporte out for a few weeks too, he's been their best centre back this season in my books.

They struggled without fernandinho in december.. Big time.

That could be quite pivotal over the next few games but we need to buck up our ideas.

Salah was dreadful yesterday, Mane was average. We desperately need some more options up there as behind them there really is nothing. Sturridge is a waste of space as is Origi.

If we lose Bobby we could be hit even bigger than City. Out of our forwards and midfield he is the most creative. There is no more creativity in the squad.

Klopp wasnt happy with Hendo blanking him as he was getting subbed off. Poor from the captain.

So let's say the season is over and we've finished 2nd, a few points off City.

What do we need in summer to take us that last step?

I actually thought Matip was very good yesterday and has been in most of the games hes played.
