When does that ever make refs add more time? They usually always blow before times up regardless of how many subs. The goal was scored with seconds left of the 5 mins.
Or atleast i thought it was late 94th min bbc has their goal as 95th min then dont add 30 aeconds on for subs made in added time thats why managers make them in that time

Couldn't understand it myself, got tuned in when they were launching the ball into the box in the 97th minute and didn't know why the game hadn't been called but if the celebration thing is true, then fair enough.

fair enough i thought it was late 94th minute, and refs never stop the clock for subs in added time, literally never, ive seen countless games of ours where theres been 2/3 subs in stoppage time and the refs still blown before the full alotted time is up.
usually refs blow soon as the times up or seconds before regardless of subs or celebrations. its one thing that really annoys me, the clock should be stopped whenever the balls not in play. even if it means reducing the length of each half. stop this time wasting n stop this guess work.
I’m not a fan of stopping the clock every time the ball is out of play. We are already moving toward the Americanization of the sport with all this var nonsense. Don’t really want to see the clock stopped all the time.
i dont wanna be playing burnley with 35 minutes of the actual football being in play out of the 90.
