We should 100% be dropping 5/10 yards deeper when he's in goal, and telling him it's ok to just punt it forward/not pass him the ball as much as we would with Alisson.

Yeah it's a fair point. Personally I would have looked to replace him this summer, I was pretty p!ssed off with his performances in the cup and I think it'll get worse the more if happens. Properly slippery slope goalkeeping, they often seem to just drop off a cliff and never recover.
