In some positive news, we're about submit a planning application to increase Anfield road end by 7000 seats.

Assuming that financial constraints didn't allow it but would have been perfect to do this over the last few months.
Shame about Thiago but hardly surprising. Definitely get the feeling that this will be the pattern for a lot of teams this season. Plenty of injuries, fatigue, inconsistency in performance and results.
The league is wide open. I’d be equally surprised if we win as I would if we finish outside top 4. That is, I’d not be surprised at either outcome
Horrific injury to Raul Jiminez. Fortunate that we won't have to face him but I'd rather do so than have him suffer that sort of injury.

It's good but also going to be so weird. I wonder if the crowd noise will still be getting played on TV as I don't think the fans in the stadium are supposed to shout or chant etc.
I'm sure they're going to be require to have their masks on at all times so chanting shouldn't be that much of a problem.

We've come down from about 700 a few weeks ago so we'll see if it continues to come down. Mass testing should help.
FA cup definitely means even less this season with all our injuries. More important the first team gets a rest.
