Yeah much different crowd then. Black players racially abused and the hooligism element. If you were not white you reminded of where you originated from.

Thankfully now this is a thing of the past. Totally comfortable walking around the ground and having a good time.

I don't think he is a crap manager. Managed a group of players who weren't good enough to stay up but went about things with a modern approach. Difficult to judge, although it will be easier to judge now with him having a talented group of players, playing his way.

Of course on the flip side one may ask why he was trying to play that way with the players he had but it's something I admire. When Rodgers did it with Swansea, they were one of the most exiting teams in the league, having just come up.

You have to remember that defensive football was in Burnley's blood for decades and he finally got rid of it.

I'm interested in how it goes. Does well, gets the City job after Pep. Goes badly and he'll struggle for a top job.

He could also be the only idiot that would want to work with that board

Yeah absolutely agree Kash. Need to come down hard on it if found guilty. Shame really as he's a quality player. Was a bit surprised West Ham got him given he was a full international already, maybe Lyon knew something about his character.

I would imagine if proven the police would be more than interested though. Conspiracy to defraud.

Yes they did jail too. 2 years sentence which was very harsh.
