ive said on another article, posted by an Arsenal fan i think, that Newcastle haven't handled this well at all. They started out faves for Ekitike now they lost out on him, after losing out on pedro to chelsea and now have an unhappy isak for denying him a dream move?

They need to learn fast, either pay ridiculous wages and break/bend rules or be prepared to lose players to bigger clubs.

Ekitike dribbling numbers are almost winger level anyway. Maybe he can play out wide?

Big season for Wharton, injury messed up his season last but when he came back fit he looked class again. Baleba is another one, can't see them staying at palace and brighton respectively much longer if things continue to plan for them.

Im certain we'll sign a cb. They have to remember the disaster that was our last title defence when we only had 3 cbs.

Honestly think if Grav is the type slot likes at DM then Nyoni could be the one anyway. Yet to see how brave Slot can be with regards to youngsters. Same team pretty much the whole of last season, even Elliott barely got a look in despite impacting from the bench.

i mean the option was grav or endo, didnt really have much choice, so who knows how much he likes him

Isak seems to pick up a couple or so injuries per season. If Nunez leaves then Isak and Ekitike, two players for one position is quite apt IMO.

I mean I agree with you that 2 players for each position is wise but if you're spending probably £200m on two players, you want to be able to start them both in the majority of games.
