Wirtz is slight and technical, but it’s no excuse for ducking out of tackles and not winning his duels. Under Klopp we were always faster and would win 2nd balls more than the opponent. Football is a simple game, win your duels and work your b*llocks off for the team.

Got to somehow get back to the basics and sort the defence, midfield and attack out. We are quite a young team still along with the experience of Ali, Virg and Mo but it’s going to take time for Slot to get a well oiled machine running.

Far too many changes in the summer and these were changes to the title winning playing 11. Didn't feel right at the time and that worry has been confirmed.

Frimpong we have no idea what we bought here and Slot does not trust him as a RB.

Wirtz has been poor and the minutes he's had we would have seen better output from Elliott

Kerkez looks worse than Tsimikas

Ekitike is getting goals but he can't hold the ball up

Isak not being fit excuse is over.

These new buys need to step up asap

Not having a dig but you’re always crying out for loads of signings. Generally the club have waited on the right signing and only made multiple moves when they’ve needed to, ie playing have moved on. However we moved on Elliott and Quansah who didn’t really want to move but weren’t getting chances.

It’s now got to the point we’re in transition but for me losing Diaz and Trent means needing to completely change the way we play which hasn’t worked yet.

Bradley needs to be first choice and trusted, Frimpong needs to play when against teams who sit back and Szoboszlai needs to stay in midfield. Wirtz has been much better that the goals/assists stats suggest. Even when he came on today he had a brilliant touch which Salah wasted.

Sorry but that made me lol. Poorly thought out?! Surely you don’t believe for even half a second that the club agreed to spend £100m without a mountain of intelligence about his strengths, tactical ability, personality and a whole lot more.

It’s not working out after the first 7 games but the idea they didn’t think it through is just daft I’m afraid.

Wirtz said a big reason he joined was due to how Slot explained the tactics and how he was going to be used.

They might not be working right now but it clearly had a lot of thought behind it.

If we don’t beat United at Anfield, then we know something is seriously wrong. We are due a win against them as-well. Haven’t beaten them at home since the 7-0.

We are not pressing high enough to dominate possession and are not controlling the ball enough to dictate the tempo.
The other issue is that we aren't organized enough defensively when possession is lost because of the passive pressure on the ball. I only saw Szoboslai running like Forrest Gump with no help from the likes of Gakpo and Salah.

Slot needs to fix this asap.

There was one point where Szoboszlai was chasing down their back line and Isak was just standing there.

I’m not questioning their attitude, but running harder in a organised way would do us the world of good.

I like that we get less injuries, but it’s not worth it if we’re getting beaten in this manner. I feel that we don’t look the fittest, but maybe that’s planned for the business end of the season.

It’s been three hard away games, with fine margins and losing by the odd goal each time, but a lot of the errors are so easily fixed, so I’m still hopeful.

Another issue is the build up. We have Kerkez or Robbo there. They are not suited to that role.

He wants to play with three at the back in the build up phase with a rb pushing further forward. We should’ve looked at a LCB/LB profile like Lukeba. I know Guehi plays LCB in a back three but I'm not sure he can play lb in a back 4. It's up to Slot to get the balance right.

Mac is giving me Fab's last season vibes. He's never been athletic but he is way off from the player he was and now his touch is like a trampoline. He's really regressed this season.
