LMA Managers of the year:

PL: Tony Pulis

CH: Nigel Pearson

L1: Kenny Jackett & Russell Slade

L2: Russell Wilcox

Is there another vote for an overall manager? Surely it should have been one of the above if that is the case?

Votes cast for division manager of the year and the overall manager of the year.

Rodgers was overall manager of the year. Deserved.

Both of them deserve recognition for the great jobs they have done

It's a travesty that the Moyesiah didn't win. Football is about entertainment and he certainly put a smile on my face.

Did they vote for it before or after he fcked up winning the league?

Ron.

It was voted for his acheivments throughout the season rather than just the last three games.

Not surprised but I thought Pellegrini would get it as it usually goes to the manager who wins the league.

Nonetheless, thoroughly deserved for Rodgers, not many could take a club from 7th to 2nd and title challengers in the space of 12 months with the squad we've had this year. Testament to his work and the improvements we've made, but still a long way to go as well.

That's a good point actually - when is the voting done?

That's 2 out of our last 14 games.
2nd half of season - 48 points from a possible 57

Yes fully deserved! Now we need sign!

We need more creativity in the final third and more steel in defence and midfield!

One thing is clear, at least to me - the Skrtel/Sakho partnership doesn't really work.
They have played together 12 times this season, shipped 18 goals with only 1 clean sheet

no, it doesn't.

It's a joke award that only goes to managers from the British Isles.

There were three contenders imo
Pellegrini, Rodgers and Pullis, all did really well and hard to choose. Some will always think a different manager deserved it, but BR I think just edged it for his attacking philosophy.

Pellegrini wasn't a contender

Did he promise cl football this season?

posted on 13/5/14

He promised champions league football... it was your best chance in years to get it, in your own hands so to speak.

But blew it...

So if Martinez leaves Everton without getting champions league football, he has failed?

posted on 13/5/14

Where has he promised CL football this season? Unless he leaves this summer....

You are a joke
