I don't think he preferred London. He preferred Arsenal.
Better ground, better chance of qualifying for the Champions league, bigger fanbase and more likely to sign top quality players.
With Suerez gone and Gerrard effectively finished Liverpool desperately need some of their so called talent to step up to the plate this season. And with Sturridge now being/thinking he's the main man I can see him being an issue this season. As we saw with England in the summer where he tries to do too much.
Got to hand it to the pillock Forza.
Started winding us up, got no bites, started to wind the dips up and got no bites from them either.
What a w anker.
Federico Pastorello, one of the most important agents, was a guest on the show “Speciale Calciomercato” he discussed a few important transfer stories. Did Manchester United and Juventus discuss Vidal during Evra’s transfer?:”There never was a time in which they discussed Vidal. But I do believe he could be one of their targets. He would be an important addition for the Red Devils. Maybe today it would be better to sell Vidal rather than lose Pogba, let’s also not forget that Juventus also owns Marchisio”
The fact Vidal wasn't even brought up in the Evra talks tells it all, we aren't in for him. It's just the papers talking crap like with Sneijder/Ozil/Thiago every year.
We'll Roma have came out and said Strooman will definitely be there next season so it won't be him
Carvalho rumours have died down too
I honestly have no idea who the club are targetting, the journalists that got fed info have no clue either. United are either being very quiet or we're going into the season with just two signings which is just a nightmare.
Personally Im thinking, like the Herrera deal (somewhat),very left field.
its exciting and nerve-wrecking at the same time.
Or we're going into the season with the current squad and Van Gaal will just use the youth academy to promote players, sigh..
I'm all for youth to be honest.I get a much bigger thrill in seeing someone rise from the Academy and going on to be an integral part of the club.

“Strootman is a Roma player, he will be a Roma player this year. There is no doubt about that."
That's the exact quote, to be honest that isn't discouraging, as most people were resigned to the fact that given Kevin is recovering from a serious injury, the earliest we could go for him was in January which doesn't contradict the manager's statement.

We still have five weeks left in the window.
Players will come and go in that time.
