Johansson is a bit of a worry full stop for me. Hoping he will come good once the team is playing as Ronny wants. For me at the moment cnt see him having a place once Brown is fit. He doesent have enough dig to be effective in defence and does not show enough skill going forward.
Just looking very ordinary in both areas at present. He had a few good games last season when left free of defensive duties in the league but that pretty much applies to any of our midfielders where we generally dominate posestion and defense ussually comprises our CB's dealing with a ball over the top thus cutting out our midfield.
Anyways am going to stay optomistic that isince it was Ronny that turned him into a Norwegian international he will fit into the team in time, after all the plan is to make us a better version of Stromgodset right

Brown and Biton would be my preferred pairing in midfield

In front of them, McGregor, Forrest and Tonev, we just need a real quality striker up top

The way he wants to play the game requires a guy who can hold up the ball when its played up top . Not some cawck who makes blind runs and loses it in good areas

Btw am i being harsh when i thought he should have squared the ball to commons rather than electing to go round the keeper - Im not sure he even seen commons thats how unaware he is at times

If we have someone who can win the ball and move it out of midfield quicker we can use the pace of tonev, derk, forrest etc. right now we are too slow in getting the ball forward by the time we get to the oppos 18 yard box theres 8/9 players behind the ball having pacey wingers means nothing in that situation.
