He done o.k , nutmegged matthews and used it well and he was brought on at a bad time
keny
Thought Matthews was rotten last night, thought our whole defence still looks very poor.
Friday night football for the bears the morra then, tough wee trip to falkirk is it? Bet yees are sheightin it
Are away games on the bears boycott list?
Keny , seriously - you watched celtic all season - you should know better than anyone how terrible his consistency is
For every good game you get at least 4 bad games
if he was consistent he would be player at a higher level
thought our whole defence still looks very poor.
really?
i cant remember any chances they had? VVD got man of the match and Lustig was solid as usual
Why was our defence bad? they had one shot on target which Gordon saved comfortably and VVD got man of the match and deservedly so
i cant remember any chances they had?
======
They had a good few tbh , a bit of composure or a better pass would have seen them prosper
but VVD and Lustig both had reallt good games
matthews looks like hes still getting up to speed and izzy is now mental
Meant to say earlier Lustig was very solid at the back last night won so many headers Captain aswell
If wages suited I would have Sammy back in a heartbeat.
Who cares if he doesent do it all the time and he doesent go in the huff if he isnt first pick. An affordable opion if only to actually provide an option in Europe
Lustig is a bit of an unsung hero for us. Is everything we could want or expect at our level and just glydes along under the radar, class player
Id much rather have Hooper than sammy, big goal getter and hard worker, good link up play and scored for fun in the league

Izzy and Matthews got sucked in towards the ball too many times last night. Couple of crosses werent dealt with all that well by VvD and Lustig.
better team would have punished us.
VvD still seems really half paced.
We'll need to cover up away to Maribor (if we are to play them) or we will lose heavily.
What was Gordon doing half way up the pitch as well.
Next week once my ankle support comes through

Gordon could really do with working on his kicking , Foster was great at that , left or right foot he could clear to the halfway line .
who remembers Klos trying to kick the ball ??
nnh wouldnt put too much into the Eufa website. Theyve no updated The Rangers history yet.

So would I mate but we cant affors Hooper
where as as I said if the wages are right we can Sammy . In an ideal world we find another Hooper
Reffer to my post above Tonev as a striker

a point I like to highlight on Sammy
in Europe, our most consistent forward, I challenge anyone to tell me a forward player in the past 5 years who contributed more in Europe than samaras.
in Europe there is space, and needs a quick player.
in the spl, backs to the wall does not suit him, so not as big a threat at all.
contrast to commons, backs to the wall suits him fine, less moving.
Europe? i'd say one of our worst contributors in eh past 3 years.
