What's funny is that an Allen type player would improve United drastically

I'd take him over Fletcher... thats for sure...

But there are a lot of players I would take over Fletcher that would be very disappointing to buy (especially for £20M!)

Allen has to be the most underrated player by our fans, it's ridiculous.

I think he would be a great buy for Utd. They could also get in Leon Britton who was the one at Swansea that made Allen look good by doing all the dirty work for him.

Perhaps because he just isn't good enough for a team that has aspirations of winning the top prizes. A squad player at best.

My new house mate is a Swansea fan, and was shocked that we paid so much for him.
