And that piece of kraappp borini. He wants to prove him self etc he came on and touched the ball probably oncewhen he just passed it out to touch.
and people here were glad when johnson went down and had manquillo come in... both him and moreno need to seriously catch up quick with the speed of the league... almost every one of their mistakes was down to thinking they had hours on the ball...
also, manquillo must be the most 1 dimensional full back ive seen in a while... get the ball, take a touch, cros. get the ball, take a touch, cross

we warned you about Balotelli - for every moment of brilliance there is a hell of a lot of dross - games where he just doesn't look interested
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's played two games...
we were warned about Sturridge too
and Suarez
we just don't listen to all the 'warnings' about how we shouldn't sign class players
Nearly every comment on this thread is a little crazy.
Balotelli is an awful signing. Star-studded line ups can afford a bit-part maverick, but Liverpool cannot.
I see he has hit the front page for off-field antics yet again
Still, you made fifty grand off shirt sales - that will cover his wages until Tuesday.
Well not bad considering £50000 was made within hours.
Mignolet 6 - might have done better with the goal.
Manquillo 6 - Few mistakes and missed challenges
Lovren 7 - Solid performance and great in the tackle.
Sakho 7 - Good in the tackle and on the ball.
Moreno 7 - Really impressed with him, think he could be a star, attacked and defended very well.
Gerrard 6 - Composed performance but poor set pieces.
Henderson 7 - His passing range is really impressing me and his workrate was very good.
Lallana 5 - not a great first game from him, struggled to create anything but certainly expect he'll improve.
Markovic 5 - Tried and tried to create something but found Villa difficult after they scored their goal when they were able to sit deep and counter(a tactic we seem to struggle against).
Coutinho 5 - Like Markovic struggled to create and was generally poor.
Balotelli 6 - you could see that something is there and he could be an important player for us but like the two forwards wide of him, struggled against a compact Villa side. I think Lambert next to him would benefit him. I don't think Balotelli relishes being the 'main man'. Can't believe the things Senderos was getting away with against him.
TOOR you talk some absolute dung.

What points are you having issues with and for what reasons?
Balotelli should be a 5, otherwise TOOR's ratings are fair.
we were solid in defence, controlled the midfield, but the front 4 looked like strangers and didn't create the chances to win.

Agreed
Henderson's passing wasn't impressive at all. But yes, his work rate was excellent, as it always is. I don't like him but he works as anybody in the league.
Sakho was poor. Your backline had little to do and he messed up massively at that corner.
I would argue that Balotelli has more natural talent than Sturridge but for all opposition fans slate Sturridge for being too greedy his movement off the ball and work rate makes him a far better team player than Balotelli. The Italian's effort was so poor yesterday and Liverpool have been so good because every single player works his balls off.
Sturridge and Balotelli together will be deadly but that owl-faced moron had to go and injure Sturridge for Ingerlund.
I think you are extremely Naive if you think Hendo is poor!
He brings so much more to the table other than his energy.
Yesterday was just a poor game
Are you talking to me? If so, I never said Hendo was poor. I said I didn't like him, I think he's pretty stupid. But then I'm a United fan and I conceed that I'm gonna be biased. Although I do think that his energy and work rate is his greatest attribute, and a bloody good one to have as well. If Fletcher could move and press like Hendo then a lot of United fans would overlook his other shortcomings.
hendo's best attribute is crisp, accurate, one touch passing
in terms of tekkers 'skill', I watched him beat Suarez and Coates in all the training skills competitions.
work rate after that
my biggest criticism is he didn't have enough of a ruthless streak. Too 'nice' on the pitch. He seems to be improving on that.

Henderson's passing range was excellent and it's improving as time moves on. I was smiling to myself watching him on the ball yesterday. He was hitting passes I only expect Gerrard could pull off in our squad, yesterday.
Sakho was good on the ball and a bit shaky but that partnership will improve, it's only their second game together.
I don't think Balotelli has more natural talent than Sturridge either. Sturridge is the better player and always has been. But as we all knew, BR has work to do on Balotelli to get him playing the way BR has drummed into the others.
In fact I can't think of many better players in his position at his age in the league.
Can you?
Sturridge has always been better than Balotelli? Couldn't be bothered to argue that but you have to agree that he was rated a Hell of a lot higher than Sturridge a few years back.
I'm not talking partnerships, Sakho as an individual was poor and I always feel there's a mistake in him. Teams press Liverpool at the back and I think they have a chance. But then that would generally mean they have to play higher up the pitch and you guys murder ppl on the break.
I had a smile on my face when I read your comment about Henderson's passing. He doesn't even have the intelligence to consistently hurt Teams with incisive passing.
Ramsay, Schneiderlin, Herrera...I'm hungover so that's just off the top of my head. Wilshere is better too.

I'm drunk again(I'm on holiday, sorry) so can't be bothered responding to all and posting stats etc. However Henderson may be stupid off the pitch but on it he is tactically outstanding. You give him a job to do and he'll follow it to a tee. His passing is excellent and getting better. He sees things that others his age just do not. People had eggs on their faces last season, with their jibes about him, you'll probably have noticed all these jibes have stopped, there's a reason for that. However, I feel, in fact I'm sure of it, he'll be even better this season. He's a young player, playing at a very good level and will continue to improve because he's eager, willing to learn and focused on being better.
