Wenger perhaps is the only manager in the whole world with a job for life
Ozil still looks out of sorts for you guys. If you were to build a team around someone it should be Ramsey for me, he was quiet today but is still the best player to take you forward.
I can see Ozil going back to Germany inside 2 years at this rate.
At this rate ozil could be ousted next summer
Wenger can't get the best out of him.
He should move to Chelsea so he can work with Mourinho again and rediscover his form.
Ozil just isn't play well, it has nothing to do with his position, he has played like this at no 10 last season as well
Playing Ramsey, Wilshere and Ozil means Ozil is out wide in wenger's book. Not a good choice given the other players we have to go in the wing.
Ozil, Cazorla and my lovely Rosicky should be our rotating number 10s but then what about Wilshere? Feck I don't know.

I say offer a swap deal for Cesc.
If I was speculating:
I suspect the long term plan is to play Wilshere/Ramsey deeper and Ozil behind a front 3 of alexis, theo, welbeck.
But....
a) Ozil is not up to speed after world cup.
b) Neither ramsey nor wilshere are disciplined enough to play deeper at the moment.
c) There is no theo.
d) Flamini and Arteta are both garbage for the same reason they have no legs.
So Wenger is playing Ozil wide. He is stiffening the middle with 3 players in the middle who can both tackle and be goal threat where really it should be just wilshere/ramsey.
Good luck with that, Fab.
Thanks for paraphrasing my article earlier.

I just miss Cesc so much
Honestly, I still think Ozil will come good eventually, but man I wish we'd got Higuain/Suarez last summer, then this summer we'd have brought Cesc home.
If Ozil continues in this form and Cesc continues for Chelsea I sadly think the fans will turn on Ozil, especially when we end up battling for fourth
Cesc this, cesc that lol. Some people need to let go!
It's worse when you see Silva gliding around on the pitch.
Ozil should be that player for us
If that is the case then that's sad for Ozil, it's not his fault that you guys didn't think re-signing Cesc was a good idea.
True, Fab. You'd probably be a better team if you got them.
Though I don't think Liverpool ever had any intention of selling you Suarez.
I still think he needs all of this season before people can make a proper judgement on him. One of the issues last season was a clear lack of pace in the side - with Welbz, Theo and Alexis that's no longer an issue.
I'm not sure he was the right guy to be our first 'galatico' if you will.
He doesn't seem to have the determination, presence, or ability to handle the pressure of being a £40m signing sadly. It's why he worked well at Real, when you've got likes of Ronaldo, Benzema, Di Maria etc.
Hopefully though it's just an issue of adapting and maturity.
Time to drop Ozil. Cazorla is on good form this season.

I think if we'd gone in with a £45m rather than a joke of an offer in '£40m + £1' offer we'd have stood a chance of Henry accepting, even if he legally should have accepted the £40m + £1 offer.
Ultimately we bottled it and didn't sue, and if we had we'd have got him. Such a shame.

Oh man that brings me onto another point - Wenger's rotation policy makes no sense. Wilshere has a good game vs Besiktas - drops him. Santi has a good game vs Leicester and Wenger drops him. Man it's annoying.
I don't agree. Why would Liverpool sell him to a team they were looking to finish above?
The fact they ignored the clause would suggest they would do all in their power to stop him going to Arsenal.

Better than Liverpool's rotation policy
I think if you came in at £55mil+ you might have had a chance.
The 'clause' had no weight, even the prems lawyers said so
It was all about money. Bid enough and you would have had Suarez.

Because it's public humiliation selling to a team who have offered a £1 above the release clause.

Yeah but I don't think they wanted to sell him to you anyway.
Arsenal fans were laughing at the suggestion that Liverpool would finish above them at the time. Well that proved to be wrong.
Liverpool knew they'd be competing with you so were never going to sell him to you, in my opinion. It was obvious one of the big boys in Spain would come calling eventually. Selling to Arsenal would have been stupid.
