Tricky - it honestly don't see how anyone can do anything but hate Roy Keane. Any player who admits going out to break another player's leg is not someone who deserves any respect.
By the way - half hour before coverage starts tonight we're feature on Sky Sports' World's Greatest Teams
I thought you hated Sky Sports, shh?
Nothing against Sky Sports mate - just violent footballers and Anti-Semitic football team nicknames
Got some time owed off by work so me and my spurs supporting manager are heading down come 1oclock.
He's said they're gonna put out a full strength team so should be a good game.
Come on you reds!
Are you sure about that, Monkey? There's talk about them 'resting' quite a few in advance of the Arsenal game at the weekend.
Enjoy the game and stay safe (and, remember, don't tw_t your manager if we lose - well, not unless you have some other job lined up!).
Hey forest fans, praise The Lord for Des Walker
We've done that gag already, Don.
With how things have been going for them sph, they could do with the win.
Hope they rest a few though, the 5-0 prediction might be possible yet!
I know - they seem to have a difficult decision to make - go all out for tonight in the early stages of an (arguably) unfashionable cup and against 'lower league opposition', or hold back and save themselves for 'the big one' at the weekend.
Who's predicted 5-0?
5-0 leave it out boys, your still a championship side. Yes your doing well in the championship but let's not go overboard with ridiculous predictions. 4-1 spurs tonight
I think he was predicting the 5-0 to you though .
Quite frankly, it is one of those games where the 'swing' in the final scoreline could be quite large. When our wheels fall off, they tend to do so quite spectacularly. However, we also have it in us win by impressive margins as well.
It will be an excellent game regardless. I'm going tonight with a forest mate of mine you think you will take a large away support?
Apparently 3,000 or so.
Not bad for a Wednesday night against non-fashionable London oppo.
joke
*3,001 if you include your mate
Would've been more had it been a weekend cup tie. Should help create a good atmosphere nonetheless.
Can't see the game being won by more than the odd goal if I am honest. Spurs are hot favourites and Forest will have to withstand some big pressure if they are going to sneak anything from it. Will be playing mosty on the break so Antonio, Assombalonga and Patterson (if picked) will have to do the damage for us.
Lars Veldwijk will make a name for himself tonight
(if I keep saying it long enough, it is bound to come true at some point !)
Will, we sold out two allocations of tickets and they didn't give a third. I think the demand was there to go beyond the 2900 we was given, despite it being Wednesday and against London's third team
Currently London's 4th team
Ray, It seems the rules that occur in the FA Cup where a certain percentage of the capacity of the ground needs to be given over to away fans doesn't aply in the League Cup. Have been to Spurs in the FA Cup and Forest had about 5000 fans up to behind the goal.
Anyone see Crossley's interview on the OS? The video of his celebration at WHL after his saving the decisive penalty from Sheringham still makes me crease.
- excellent
btw - almost to 100 without a single comment from our woolly neighbours! That's one in the eye for 'em!
