Sorry just trying to wake Dixie Ram up

Ibe to start for me than the legend Dawkins to come on after 13 mins draw the defenders to him and then slip a sly square ball into the path of Russell who attacking the space launches an 'I'm playing against Forest again' screamer....back ov the net.

Had a long chat with Simon Dawkins this week when he visited the school I work at I can report he is an excellent chap , a credit to the club. He is so keen to make an impression on the pitch and knows he is in the middle of something special and needs to fight for his place . All round top bloke ...and very keen on The Gruffalo !

Gentleman, legend and children's literature connoisseur.

That gruffalo fellow scares me but the kids seem to like him.

And a good afternoon to you fellow Rams

indeed 2wellies ... He was with us for nearly 2 hours including signing autographs for just about everybody in yr5 and 6 ... Said he was humbled by the response of the pupils . Genuine to the core .

Afternoon Igor, 2W and Hinton

Hinton, I was very impressed with that visit - fair play to him.

Why don't the other players not get involved more in the local schools? They may not be academic but the galvanising and motivating effect they can have on youngsters in immeasurable - just by being there.

I'm guessing cos they're not injured as much as Dawkins is Viewfrom.

I think they do a lot but the trick is to get the media committed to show up. I thought we might lose out to Alvin Fenton Stardust on the day.

Back to Simon he is a confidence player and took to the Gruffalo like a mouse sweet talking a fox ... So as far as I'm concerned that's a sign .
