I disagree. I don't think the different is at all vast, but I still think Arsenal are a bigger club, if not the bigger draw.

Chelsea are without doubt the more competitive and ambitious club, but a fruitful period of 10 years, in my view, isn't nearly enough to oust almost 100 years of history before that. Not yet.

Another 8-10 years of similar mentalities and philosophy's and the more ingrained perception of the two clubs by new fans and new players then it may (read:will) be more difficult for me to argue.

Id say Chelsea have been the bigger and better club since 2005 yes.

And why is a 71m fanbase for a team that has not been in the CL for 5 years and not won the league for 25 years surprising?.....wake up scousers, Liverpool are a small club and they proved it by giving up before ko agst Real Madrid.

Football'c global expansion is a fairly recent thing, if a team has not won their domestic league for over 25 years and been out of the leading comp for several then how will it capture that growth

by all means write to this company and challenge their findings....

Yes but you brought up the CL. Them not winning the league in my lifetime does not mean Liverpool aren't a big club. They will have won a lot of fans in Istanbul, for example. Not to mention that they've competed for titles often enough.

Football's expansion into globalisation may be fairly recent, but the gap seems weird.

How long before Arsenal compete with us again at the highest level? With Mourinho in charge and us making the FFP, I would say a long time. Arsenal are like Aston Villa/ Everton to us. Even their worldwide fun numbers are a joke.

The claim was not whether Liverpool is a big club, but that their global fanbase is 71m.
