Pundit, there is a wise old saying,

You can't polish a tu rd.

Kenny has been let down big time by Morgan, the players were identified and were not brought in.

We ended up looking at players that were probably third or fourth on our list and as regards Sagbo that was just a panic signing.

We are now shopping in the basement bargain and it is going to be very hard to find the quality we need in January.

Unless we have a decent December this season is gone and I'm not sure ditching Kenny is the answer

The be-all and end-all is the first team. All of the other services at Wolves should be geared towards that. Whether that is the development squad, the transfer policy (both permanent and loans), training or health care.

Sadly, in almost every regard, Wolves are failing.

The development of young players at Wolves doesn't deliver players of sufficient quality to the first team. Whether that is Batth (who incidently will never captain England), Price or McAlinden. None of these players look good enough for the Championship, let alone the Prem. And as for Ismail, don't get me started.

Our transfers looked good last season, but none have stepped-up. McD looked the best player in L1 and Henry, Jacobs and Goldbourne also looked tidy. None have looked good enough for top Champ. £750K for Clarke looks criminal and the recent purchases of Saville, Rowe and VLP have displayed little or no promise.
Sagbo as a loan signing was a complete waste and the jury is still out on Graham.

Not sure what happens in training, but the stats that I usually look at out of interest from most games, shows the number of shots that hit the target from those made is sadly low and despite our usual (Brentford was an exception) possession stats, we don't appear to create many chances.

As for out health and fitness regime; I'll just mention Boukari, Kightly and O'Hara. 'Nuff said.

Come-on, Wolves, we are supposed to be making progress.
You trumpet the Academy, but our U21s are not winning and the players making a break-through are not good enough.
You keep saying that money is available for the "right" players but won't break the wages policy for players that even the fans know would improve us (Wilson, Bamford, Wood etc...)

We really need a statement of intent over the next couple of months, otherwise!!!!!

Stale's players got us to top 2, Pundit. You know what happened after that!

The starting point needs to be picking that same team

____________Ikeme

Doherty___Batth___Stearman___Golbourne

_______McDonald___Evans

La Parra______Edwards______Sako

______________Dicko

Then go from there. We will break the bad spell with this team sooner rather than later. We need to take it back to basics, strip away deadwood and if we do buy two players, they need to be the best two players at the club. Quality over quantity.

We don't have enough gritty championship players in our defence or midfield - players that can see us through with a performance when we're not playing well. Danny Graham is one of these... He will be a good acquisition in time.

How many of our best 11 have got a few years championship experience under their belt? Sako, Ikeme, Stearman, Edwards, Ricketts. That's about it.

If we bought a few experienced players and with survival guaranteed in months time, we could bring in Eusabio and Hause.

pundit as usual hasn't got a clue but i do expect better from other posters.

the root problem is not players we haven't signed

9 months ago we outclassed brentford
as of yesterday all the players from that game except
dicko were available to us
brentford only had 2 changes from february
all confidence, motivation and team spirit since february has gone and the only person to blame is jackett, not morgan or moxey.
whatever the reason jackett has lost the dressing room
he has to go, sooner rather than later

I predicted that you guys would mid-table and be calling for Kenny's head at Xmas.
Does that count?

Wolfgang
What proof have you got that kenny has lost the dressing room, rather than or players trying hard but failing?
I mean concrete proof. I haven't heard anything from the club or players. It's speculative and ironic, given that you say I'm talking rubbish.

I think Wolfgang makes a valid point to be honest.

Yes we need to strengthen the squad, but that isn't the problem here now, the problem here now is Kenny has made bad decisions and has no plan B and doesnt even know his best side, if feels like he is plucking names out of a hat.

He tore up the defence after 3 or 4 poor games, not just making one change, but two, one was dropping Golbourne, his poorest decision thus far, we have looked in complete disarray ever since he started mixing and matching after a nice solid start with few changes.

Stearman hasn't suddenly become a liability, he is experienced, he has pace, he is good on the ball, play him with Batth. Why on earth pick ricketts, everyone can see he isn't able after recent games, a ridiculous decision.

Where is plan B, you have a bench, we are losing, the system clearly isn't working, why the feck make like for like changes, alter it, put on an extra striker, do something to give the opposition something to think about.

Oh and bring back Price, he has more terrier like qualities than any of the others in midfield and looked quality last season, kMac looked at his best alongside him as well.

To discard him because he is small is worrying, at least give him a look, he is standing out for orient by all accounts.

Didn't listen to the game yesterday. Still in a state of shock.

Give me a few hours, then I will have the answer, just be patient.

I just don't get you Cinci

Openly criticising Jackett for not having a plan B whilst criticising him for changing his team.

I think Jackett has tried 4-3-3 and 4-4-2

What is this plan B you want?

Changing players each week isn't a plan B pundit.

Plan B is trailing a game, having a system that isn't working, and changing it up by utilizing the sub bench.

Where do you hear that Price is standing out for Orient? Orient are struggling in L1 and lost 3-1 yesterday. Price was also injured for a while and (I think) came back to Wolves for treatment.

posted on 30/11/14

Orient fans seem to think he is very good Cyp.

Wolves fans already know how good he was last season.

He may not cut it in the championship, but to discard because he is small is ridiculous.

Evans and kmac are too similar, price has more tenacity.

posted on 30/11/14

And yeah, he was injured, but played 90mins yesterday.

Highly intelligent remark pundit, care to enhance it so it makes some sense?

Or shall we just assume you are now resorting to insults as you have been made to look pretty silly the last 24 hours.

I've come to the conclusion you haven't got a clue

My views have been quite clear since yesterday, no confusion.

Your views have been 'I told you all so, look at me, look at me, I am so so brave and clever to predict we wouldn't challenge for promotion'.

Coming from the guy who spent the summer telling everyone that Ricketts was our second best centre half and should be starting every week. That his ageing didn't matter because the first few yards are in your head and he read the game well.

How's that working out for you Pundit?
