On paper you would have thought we had at least 30 goals between Ade and Soldado. funny how things work out.

What it does show is more attention needs to be paid to the type of striker we sign. Considering Osvaldo and Lambert were Poch's chosen strikers Soldado and to an extent Ade were never really going to work.

We need hard working, strikers that are strong on the ball. This doesn't mean they need to be tall but not easily dispossessed and capable of bringing others into play.

Berahino as a purchase would be a big mistake in my opinion.

Berahino would only work as an inside forward in my opinion.

The only players on that bench that'd get near our bench are the strikers. The others wouldn't make the 25, let alone the 18.

I'd be interested to see Kaboul in the side now it's settled down.

The problem with him is that people got too giddy when he got injured and built him up to be a modern Desailly in his absence, when he was always just decent with a mistake in him.

I didn't think he was as good as made out then, and on the same lines I don't think he's as bad as made out now. Fazio makes just as many mistakes.
