Cotto was weight drained for that fight. Dud result.
Paulie is the very definition of 'all talk', but he gives pretty good analysis sometimes..
Anyway as Deniro put it in Goodfellas I'll know who the best is, once the final bell rings and one man has his hand raised
Paulie is just an example of how some say one thing before a fight, then the fight happens and they change their story.
He does normally give decent analysis but his views cannot be trusted on this topic
145 = catchweight = drained fighter. Fraud.

That was known before the fight, Paulie still thought if Pacquiao won he would be the best ever.
Obviously he didn't know the full effect of a drained Cotto

----------------------------------------------------------------------
He did, he fought Cotto at 140lbs, and that Cotto whopped that ass.
Cotto moved up in weight for a reason. He outgrew 140 much as he outgrew 147 but Pac wanted to drain an already drained man. Cotto is now a fully fledged middleweight. Paqroid should work in sanitation. He's good with drains/
Yes, he was too big for 140lbs, and was very weight drained when Paulie fought him, and still beat the $hit out of Paulie
I like Pauli but his irrational hate for Pac is very obsessive
Paulie's weird. He's too highly strung to be a boxing analyst.

Paulie speaks the truth these days. He is an objective analyst and calls it like it is.Pac fan boys cry every time he does an interview about pacquiao.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So he was lying back then and a bad analyst?
Probably just a bit swept up in the hype D, calmed down a bit now and doesn't think Pac's as some people think he is.
Nowt wrong with having an opinion and at least he's not on the fence or spouting super crap 'facts'
That should be as good as some people think he is
Nah he's not right in the head Vik. He had a rant on video about Al Haymon once, ended up signing with him not long after. He switches sides when it suits him.

He wasn't caught up in the hype though. He thought Cotto would win and win comfortably.
He just could take it that Cotto gave him one hell of a beating and then Pacquiao gives Cotto a hell of a beating, and just to rub salt into the wounds Roach and Pacquiao wouldn't give Paulie a pay day.
Think he's just got an opinion and likes to air it. Nowt wrong with that D4.
Maybe like a few people, he got sick of the catchweights and all that rubbish, or maybe like you say he's just annoyed he never got a payday.
Either way he's still entertaining.

Well that is personal agenda then. He is a boxing pundit and should be professional, rather than acting like a spoilt school child.
And fan should be weary on his comments on this matter because of this.
Because he doesn't rate Manny due to the catchweights and that?
That's what a pundits there for, to give his opinions, not be swayed by the hype and that.

He knew Cotto vs Pacquiao was at 145lbs before the fight.
Unbiased well thought out opinions, not a platform to express his hate.
I hope Paulie continues this tirade of hate against Pacquiao, gets sued by Pacquiao and loses his job at showtime.
The guy is such a **** his girlfriend left him for Bronner, yes Adrien Bronner, that tool
If what he was saying was wrong Pac or Arum would have sued by now.
It's not the only catchweight he's fought at D4, maybe that's the issue with Paulie.

Paulie goes crazy again. Forgets Mosley is a known PED user involved in the Balco scandal.

Pacquiao sued the Mayweather, and they paid up the damages.
Pauile doesn't get sued because he was largely irrelevant back then, seen as just a no thing loudmouth.
But now in his role as a commentator on showtime, his views reach a largely audience and is given credence by his position.
He could very well get himself sued.
How many time was Paulie blood tested in his career?
That's what I mean D4, Manny's already shown he'll go to the lawyers if he thinks he's right.
The fact he hasn't makes you think that maybe Paulie's got a point.
Not enough testing for any boxers, you know that.
