Real shame for him as he was two starts away from not missing a game for two seasons which would be some achievement.
Hause to come in?
I would like to see Hause given a go, but think Kenny will go with EEL.
Have to say I am not surprised to hear this news. He was clearly struggling with injury in the 2nd half on Saturday and I was surprised he stayed on.
While I think you and I agree on many things Tam, the relative value of our two centre halves is not one of them. So I don't see this as a blessing in disguise but I also don't see it as a massive blow as our season is all but over.
What it does do is give an opportunity to someone else and I would like to see Hause get a couple of games in the centre. As things stand I think bringing someone in as cover and competition to Batth and Stearman is a priority for this summer, but maybe one of our young players, Hause, Iorfa or EEL could show they were good enough to step up.
Agree about Hause.
Season will be far from over if we win on the weekend and Ipswich don't . . . a far from impossible scenario . . . keep believing.
I don't personally think it is a blessing in disguise, just put it up there to create a discussion. What I do think is that it is a massive opportunity for one of the young centre backs we have to make an impression.
I don't really rate EEL from what I have seen. I think he has the potential to be a solid Championship centre half eventually, but don't see him ever being better than that. Happy to be proven wrong by the lad though.
It would be good to see Hause given a go in his preferred position as I think he would work well in partnership with Stearman at the back, as I think Batth does.
Shame for Danny. I'm just glad that we got that extra CH in the summer, otherwise we might have to throw an inexperienced player in.
Not keen on EEL so would go with Hause.
Not inconceivable that Pundit could get his wish and see Iorfa alongside Stears with Doherty back at RB.
Hause for me, let's see what he can do in his natural position and the pressure is now off.
Mystic Tatter has looked into his crystal ball and the future is clear....
If we keep a clean sheet with Stearman and either Iorfa, Hause or EEL at CB this will be conclusive proof that whoever plays next to Stearman is as good as or better than Stearman and should take his place next season.
If we fail to keep a clean sheet this will prove beyond doubt that Stearman is nothing without Batth and should be dropped next season.
Lump on

Wolves could also be without goalkeeper Carl Ikeme (knee) and 14-goal top scorer Bakary Sako (groin) for Saturday’s final away game of the season at Wigan.
Genuine or #headsgone ?
Batth - Liability.
Ikeme - Injury prone
Sako - inconsistent.
Won't miss any of 'em.
Interesting to see what KJ does as both Searman and Hause are left sided CB's. Can anyone remember where Ebanks-Landell played when Stearman was dropped? He's played at RB before so maybe Danny moved over to the left.
Iorfa has been identified as a RB by Kenny so I would assume it'll be either Hause or E-L. For me, I'd like to see Hause be given a chance in his natural position.
Been leaking goals with lkeme. Koskis will steady the ship.
Batth is overrated. Time for EL to shine
Then EL will be overrated and we move on to the next young hopeful and so on...

Stearman can play both sides and is predominantly right footed. He has played right back remember.
He plays left side of the centre two at the moment because he is better on the ball that Danny and obviously feels more comfortable than Batth does there.
I don't buy into the whole right and left sided centre back anyway. If you are good enough you should be able to play either.

Our best three players? Yeah right!
Iorfa at CB with Stearman and Doherty back in at RB. Hause on the bench to cover. (Not convinced by Hause)
We will find out how much we miss one of them next season.
If we get more points then I guess it will conclusively show we didn't miss him.
If we go into the Wigan game without Ikeme, Batth and Sako and win, then we must conclude that our reserves are better than our first team and that every time someone does well they should be dropped.
Or maybe just a loss of form.
Batth has been shaky, sako was appaling.
It'll be Hause.
I'd prefer Iorfa
Good job Sako is fit for Wigan then DJ.
Someone who watched Wolves train yesterday has said on Mol Mix that they we lining up with the EEL next Stearman when playing 11 on 11. Let's hope he's not jellied this time, we could do without him being as wobbly as he was earlier in the season.
Is this the same Ebanks-Landell that was picked in place of a wobbly Stearman and scored on his first appearance Tam? KJ may well be going for experience for the last two games and I can understand that, even though some on here would like to see Hause in that position.
Has EEL even played 10 games for us?
