what world class fighters are there at 160? martinez at his best didnt want none.

Ward is a lot bigger than GGG and a top 3 P4P fighter, I would pick him to beat GGG but it hardly means anything

lol he's not obliged to move up, if there is nobody on his level at 160 that just shows how good he is. Maravilla ducked him, stop making excuses.

Quillin would end up catching up on some sleep if he fought Golovkin. Rosado and Lee outboxed Quillin, Golovkin would torch him.

The problem is nobody at 154 would fight him except maybe Canelo and I think that fight will happen when he moves up to 160. I think GGG will move up to 168 after beating Canelo.

Those guys aren't on GGG's level.

He beat all the top guys at amateur level including, his quality is obvious to anyone who understands boxing

He only lost about 10 amateur fights out of over 350 and that's while competing at the highest level, that's incredible

Canelo would pose zero problems for GGG

Lara would get worn down and stopped late, Andrade is a very good boxer but I can imagine GGG knocking him clean out, these tall, skinny guys always go down hard

GGG is supposed to be some kind of killer but he hasn't been in there with a world class fighter. Put him in with ward.

Put Floyd in with GGG

Ward can't even make 168lbs anymore.

Ward should be fighting Kovalev. 172lbs is not a weight class.

D4 still obsessed with FloydKeep up D4 we are discussing GGG and possible opponents at 154 and 168
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Floyd is in that list.

Fanboy mentality.
Floyd can fight Cotto for the middleweight title, but he can't fight GGG and light-middleweight

"Canelo would cause him trouble and so would lara.

GGG has mediocre defence,he has showed that he can get hit with shots that he should not be getting hit with."
===

How exactly would Canelo cause GGG problems? He's cement footed, he will have to go to war with GGG and that's not a war he can win. Golovkin can take a punch like nobody else in boxing, he's packing some serious granite in that chin. Canelo can't hurt him.

"Make no mistake Canelo is not a one dimensional brawler. He is a solid boxer/puncher and he has a ever improving inside game and his bread and butter is his counter punching. GGG can be hit so canelo will land shots and canelo has the speed at 154. Canelo doesn't brawl he boxes. He is very crafty in there and against GGG he could make things difficult. GGG has a chin but so does canelo. Neither have been down in there careers. This fight depends on what weight they make it at. At 154 i would favour Canelo at 160 GGG."
===

Canelo is a limited boxer puncher. He's flat footed and definitely not as crafty as you make it sound like, he's a solid fighter, that's it. Canelo hasn't got the power to hurt GGG, Canelo hasn't stopped anyone above C level his own size.

The fight should be at 160, Canelo walks around heavier than GGG and weighs more on fight nights. The only reason he makes 154 (he hasn't in 3 fights now actually) is because he's still only 24.

Canelo stands zero chance of beating GGG, I don't even think he would be competitive.
