Rotation

He rotates a lot apparently according to Brentford fans!

infact when they lost a match he locked the players in the dressing room with him and they had it all out. 2 hours of disscussion apparently.

Stopped rotating after that match and went on a 19 game unbeaten run.

apparently he has learned his lessson after that, maybe not.

Yeah, interesting that Rich. Who knows? I think it
had to have played into Neil's demise. Right or wrong.
The idea of under utilizing the players MC/NS brought
in keeps coming up. MC ranting on about Monty
was a major tip-off.

Yeah apparently the players got pretty cheesed off with their being no continuity.

I'm personally still trying to work out whether players like Casper Sloth who played for Denmark against England are better than Kalvin Phillips, or was it just that Redders had his standard 'look ive made phillips career' hat on.
Sloth doesn't appear to have done anything wrong, so its either he is complete trash or redders just picking academy to stick a finger up at MC.

So, in amongst the meat beating, can someone take time out and answer a little something?..

Will the new bod be allowed to play Antenucci?..

Or has he been released and somebody forgot to say owt?.

Oh er batty, don't you think the coaches around Elland Road have been rotated enough to last this club an eternity?..

To rotate it helps with player's to rotate, and a team with no wing men don't leave to much to rotate!..

Antenucci -Well the season is now over and he didnt get the required goals (12 league?) to activate the extra year, so his contract will expire next summer instead of the one after.

Rossler made it clear he likes 4-3-3 with pace out wide and says team has players in certain positions but lacks in others. Think this will be the transfer window of widemen haha, need 4.

3-5-2 is his plan B quicker he gets lads in and gets working on his tactics the better. Brentford used to dominate the ball with 70-80% possession in games, we are a long long way off being able to do that.

I like what he says, hopefully he is given the equipment to do his job properly.

Rosler seems perfect for us. I hope he decides to keep hold of Austin.

Austin is done and dusted. finito.

Dammit!

Rich, why do you think I was asking if Rosler would be allowed to play him!..

You've answered it in your little write up, he didn't get the 12 goals he was conned into fighting for!..

So, will we have anymore off this or will Cellino man up!..

I'm here to back the new bod, and I'll bet the same people that always pop up and give grief to those that back a "coach" for failing will end up fighting with me again, because I ain't blaming him for what's not in his hands, and to me nobody has Leeds United in their hands!..

There is one that says he has, but hey, he's not got the safest hands in the world has he?..

Obviously never say never, teams release players and then resign them, Villa did it with Guzan a few years back (sticks in my head because of where i live)

But Austin contract done, he wont struggle to get a new club quickly IMO.

my bad Germany!

god knows, these clauses could still be about or have expired after a season?

there seemed to be a few of them for certain players, like the montenegro one, he didnt make enough appearances so we had to pay his club cash.

he needs to stop messing about with all these stupid ideas of his and get back to basics thats for sure.

It would restore my faith if they summoned Austin back. He's a very useful player to have in your rotation and I can't believe they let him go.

white, Austin came to mind when Uwe mentioned
high levels of fitness. That's Rudy to a tee.

Rich, I liked Sloth a lot when he played. He was another
like Berardi who went and played (when given the chance) out of position based on Redders needs.

I don't believe Sloth is anywhere near as bad as it
appeared through lack of playing time and opportunity.

Again, I think Neil shot himself in the foot. And your comment on Sloth or Kalvin "I made him" might not be too far off. Egos are funny old things.

Agreed Batty...High Fitness and Pure Power!

Yes, absolutely agree. And have long held that opinion of dear old Rudy. I should mention, I was not bothered over his release. So, that was not a whinge on my part. Just thought it was interesting.

Well he can run with a ball Eddie but he does have a lot of wayward shots I agree. I'm sure that could be drilled out of him

I think Sloth will flourish under a manager that has experience in Scandinavian football, high energy levels too. He'll be quite fond of Cook and I think he would have taken a liken to Austin.

What about Ajose, he's worth a chance in pre season surely.

Ajose has to be given a chance.

We may not know where MC stands with respect to player rotation, but manager/coach rotation policy will not change.

Did NR know the circumstances of Montenegro's contract? Was it pointed out to him in time?

If he did and he had the chance to save the club £100k by playing him in dead rubber matches once we were safe and he chose not to compromise on his own ideals, I'd say that was a mistake on his part. A big one. But if he never knew, how could there be any blame attached to him? He was the coach who picked the team, not the chairman who knew all the ins and outs of the player's contracts.

As for Cellino calling him weak and a baby, I'd say he was pretty bloody strong actually. Very principled, much like McDermott. And he will now have a pay-off on his academy contract if not invited back to it.

Hope Rosler is given a better shot of things than the others. Can't say I'm optimistic about that happening though. Am sure various things will start to come out of the woodwork over the summer

LST, he had a squad he under utilized for various reasons. Choosing not to play Monty when we were safe, when the lad was scoring and Morison wasn't should've been an easy one.

I seem to remember NR had a bonus clause if we finished in a certain place or higher. If true, then NR
Pulled a self preservation move. Again.

"when the lad was scoring and Morison wasn't should've been an easy one."

Or, his choice was vindicated when Morison scored 2 at the ned?
