toor surely a defenders 1st priority is to defend right? going forward he seems good but not so much at defending.
As you've not provided a link, it's not clear in what context he's marked them. Is it purely how they did last season, or how he ranks them as an actual buy with a view to how good they could still yet become?

hire a time machine, the 90s want you back
Lallano 6
Lovreno 3
Cano 7
Moreno 5
Balo 3
Lamberto 5
Marko 5
Manqo 5
I think Can has shown the most to suggest he will be a top footballer. Isn't a right back but as a RCB he did very well. Now needs a chance in midfield for a longer period.
Lallana was ok, injured too often but did reasonably well when fit.
Marko, Moreno and Manquillo all much of a muchness for me. All young, all need to improve a lot. I think Manquillo was the unlucky one to barely play after Xmas, don't think he was that bad we just can't defend in a 4 collectively and he can't attack so isn't a wing back.
Lambert had fleeting chances but was poor in the first half of the season, got a bit better when he got fitter.
Lovren and Mario disasters.
Can 7
Lallana 6
Marko 5
Ibe 5
Studge 5
Balo 3
Gerrard 7
Hendo 6
Allen 5
Lambert 5
Sterling 5
Mig 7
Skrtel 7
Johnson 6
Moreno 5
Coutinho 6.5
Lovern 4
Sakho 6
Manqu 3
Too much blood going to his nose that should be going to his brain.
Lallana 5 (midtable player, what is his best position? why did we buy him?)
Lovren 3 (during his Lyon days he was very error prone, also was never good on the ball at Southampton, a dud)
Can 6 (due to early form, but full back is the easiest position on the pitch so i dont excuse his poor showing there)
Moreno 5 (has the tools, but needs experienced centre half beside him to see him blossom)
Balo 2 (given so many chances and showed nothing)
Lambert 4 (not given enough chances)
Marko 4 (too light, where do we play him? his career stats are miserable for an attacker)
If Rodgers played more players in their right positions it would be easier to judge them objectively.

It was a really poor summer of signings for the club.
It's a shame because we'd just returned to the CL and needed to make some big waves in the transfer window.
Instead we got ripple of duds - and a fortune wasted.
Rodgers put most of his eggs in the Sanchez basket - it was as if he had no contingency players in mind.
